I stayed on my own for one night. My room was tiny, but comfortable. I was aware it was a shared bathroom (although I was the only one using it that night). The pub was clean, the food (both evening and breakfast) was good, and the staff and locals friendly. The church is across the road and well worth a... More

My wife and I stayed overnight with friends on the night if the 1st October. We were going to The Minnack Theatre on that night and tried to get somewhere to stay nearer to the theatre but everything was booked even months before so the nearest we could get was The Kings Arms. We arrived in time for lunch and... More

Food was nice service awful - tried to order a sweet but member of staff just kept walking past ignoring us texting on phone. Also tried to order a drink but gave up it was not as if it was busy we were only ones eating!

Stayed here for one night on the way to another venue in Cornwall. The pub itself is very old and has a lot of character but we were disappointed in the room as it wasn't like the pictures on the web site. The room was quite damp with a large humidifier in the corner. The decor was basic and the... More

We didn´t stay there overnight - we only had our beer and liquor in the pub. Wide range of choices was available. We stayed at a nearby camp so we were happy they had wifi we were able to use :-) We like typical English pubs so we liked this one, too :)

This is a traditional village pub doing the usual pub fayre. The food was well prepared and presented. Dogs are allowed in the bar and are made to feel welcome. The service was friendly and the locals we were chatting too added to the friendliness.

When we arrived here the owner immediately advised that, following some very heavy rain, the room we were booked in to was suffering from a bit of damp. She advised that they had installed a dehumidifier which should help but it really was up to us if we stayed. And you can't say fairer than that. The room (No 1),... More

"The Kings Arms" is a lovely, charming Hotel in Paul, just above of Mousehole. If you want to visit Mousehole, just go down the street, and you will get there. We stayed for two nights and visited Land´s End and St. Michaels Mount the other day. On both days we had dinner at the Inn, which offers a nice variety... More

I booked this very early in advance as we were travelling from Bristol for a showing at the Minack Theatre. At £90 per night I guess I was expecting a little more than we got. The room was quirkily lopsided and quaint, which was fine, but the bed was ridiculously old and uncomfortable and held in place underneath with a... More
