This is a very nice little B&B situated in a quiet side street just off the far end of the Promenade, about 10mins walk from the town centre. The owners are very welcoming and the whole place has a nice homely feel to it. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was all you could want. Highly recommended!

Don't hesitate ONE SECOND! Stewart and June are the loveliest couple, in their (late) sixties. They hinted that they would only be doing this a little while longer so GO THERE NOW! Penzance is not very attractive, except for the beautiful boardwalk but it is located very centrally for the South-West of Cornwall. We almost changed our booking at the...

This is a warm and homely B&B, very comfortable and in a great location. The hosts were delightful, very helpful in offering tips and advice about the local area and making our stay very enjoyable. Sadly, our visit to Cornwall was too brief - we will definitely return!

Stayed 2 nights in this B&B and had a lovely stay. The house has all the charm of an English B&B with great hosts, personal service and is very nicely decorated including many small touches that we loved! The room we stayed in was a good size and had everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was...

Ashton House is a lovely B&B with some of the best hosts we have experienced. The location is very good for exploring SW Cornwall. It is an easy day trip to Saint Michael’s Mount and Land’s End. We also attended a very enjoyable evening play at the open air Minack Theatre. There are a number of great pubs within easy...

We spent three nights here and were made very welcome by Stewart and June. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the breakfasts were excellent. The guest house is in a very quiet Conservation Area with easy access to the town via delightful footpaths. This is a great spot for exploring West Cornwall or for a mini-break before travelling to the Scillies....

The host was very friendly and amiable and managed to accomodate us despite being short of staff. Slight concern about overbooking but we are glad the proprietor did his best to provide for us. The home cooked breakfast was hot and plentyful. Would stay there again.

Kevin's partner Christine made the reservation and I explained over the telephone that the first night was fully booked but that at a discount she could have our own room for the first night and then a regular guest room for the second. We do not normally do this but she was very keen to stay with us and asked...
