This was my second stay at Keigwin House — I chose it unhesitatingly, remembering how good it was last time — and I wasn't disappointed in any way. Fran is so kind and helpful and always goes out of her way to make sure guests feel welcome and are well looked after and happy. The whole place is lovely and...

Wanted to check out Penzance before we go home. Spent 3 days at the guesthouse. It was nice and clean, not too noisy. Tea, hot chocolate in the room and a kettle. Beds were a bit noisy, but nice and hot room during winter. Breakfast was great, we had everything we needed. Simple and good value for money! Thanks!

So pleased you enjoyed your short stay at Keigwin and exploring Penzance. Not sure which room you had now, but I have put foam rubber on the back of the headboards to stop the plaster on the walls from getting rubbed and this does squeak a bit! Kind regards Fran

The location was very good and just in walking distance to the city center through a nice park. The room is nicely furnished and very clean. The breakfast was very good. To sum up - we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back :-)

The rooms are spacious and well-kept, with an overall very clean environment. The owner and the staff are really kind, polite and welcoming. Breakfast is served in...

The owners Fran and Stuart were very helpful. Stored luggage while we went over to Isles of Scilly (which they know well and provided some good advice), helped us arrange a car rental, and told us to use the train from a local station to St. Ives - thus avoiding a traffic and parking issue. Room was very comfortable (they...

This B&B is just off the coastal path and well positioned for the town centre shops and eating places. Our hostess could not have been more helpful, and made us feel so welcome. The rooms are comfortable. Really good value for money.

I had to book a last minute emergency stay in Penzance due to a family crisis. The owner, Fran, made the entire stay welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean, well presented and comfortable. The superb breakfast ensured that the family crisis could be met head on. Many thanks.

Keigwin House is a friendly, family-run quality guesthouse situated on treelined Alexandra Road in Penzance. Keigwin is one of a row of Victorian houses built in the 1850s, now modernised for your comfort whilst retaining many original features. Fran and Stuart Brint moved over to Penzance from the Isles of Scilly after purchasing Keigwin in 2005. Keigwin House is a friendly, relaxed place to stay whilst enjoying the delights that Penzance has to offer. There is a choice of tastefully furnished family, double, twin and single rooms. All rooms are en suite with the exception of both the single rooms and one twin room which all have a vanity basin but share a bathroom. Bathrobes are provided in the standard rooms. We are also ideally placed for you to venture further afield, whether by car, bus or train, and explore the stunning scenery and attractions that West Cornwall has to offer. ... more   less
