I am a bit late on this, but my husband and I (Nova Scotians) stayed here for 2 nights mid-October. Our room was comfortable and spacious, the breakfast was cooked to order, varied and delicious, and best of all, hosts Lindsay and Andrew were very gracious. They were most forthcoming with directions and suggestions and very helpful with phone calls...

Not normally a B&B people, we tried this as it was so highly rated and now I can see why. Glencree House is absolutely brilliant, the hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was of a high standard, fairly spacious, immaculately clean and so much better than a hotel. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and clean, which made...

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay here. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. Our room was spacious and comfortable and and every detail had been thought of. The breakfast menu was extremely appetising; we were only sorry that we did not stay long enough to work our way through all of the tempting options!

Great welcome, great room (nice and clean), great breakfast and the hosts are happy to give you loads of information about the local area. I would say the only downside could be the parking situation, as the parking in on street with no designated parking bays for the guest house, and as parking is free, everybody is parking where they...

Only stayed one night before taking the ferry to the Scilly Isles. A very clean & comfortable room & a very tasty breakfast but had to leave early to catch the ferry. Well looked after. A little more expensive than some B&B's but worth it. Good location. Only about 10/15 mins walk into town.

The guest house is just away from the centre and two streets back from the sea which can still be heard as waves hit the sea wall at high tide. Plenty of atmospheric pubs and restaurants on the walk into town. The house is run by owners who use natural products and locally sourced and free-trade food and drink. The...
