We visited this hotel on an Alfa Coach Holiday. All the staff were very friendly and efficient, especially our waitress who was brilliant, serving us with generous portions of good food, especially at breakfast The hotel is a little tired but spotlessly clean. Our bedroom was OK with nice quality furniture.

The food was excellent, the staff helpful, and this hotel was litterly five minutes walk from the sea, even pushing a wheelchair, there was a neat little pool, and a large ballroom/bar area, with billiad, pool, and table tennis tables just next to it, they had entertainment on most nights, plus the town centre was an easy ten minutes walk away,... All aspects of this holiday were well worth the money. The Eden Project was an excellent day out, so was the Lost gardens of Heligan and Mevagissey. If you like boat trips I can recommend the 2hr sea safari from Newquay harbour, it is possible to see seals, basking sharks and dolphins or porpoise.

I just finished up a 2 night stay at the Eliot and found it quite delightful. The front office staff were brilliant, friendly and ever so willing to help. My room had two single beds which I found very comfortable. No duvets here folks but lovely crisp sheets. And a blanket. The shower pressure was fantastic. Floors a bit squeaky... More

Found this hotel to be well located about 5 minutes level walk from promenade and bus stop. The reception area is bright and welcoming. My room was a double giving plenty of room and was well equipped with furnishings. The dining experience was first rate with dinner offering 4 choices of starters /main meals and deserts followed by coffee served... More

My husband and I have just returned from this hotel. We went on a four night break coach trip. Not a very attractive hotel,as surrounded by houses,a lot of which are rentals. Lots of partying and loud noise most nights. I tried to sleep through it,and the additional snoring above and next to us,not to mention toilets flushing and people... More

Went on coach tour. Food was good, room clean and adequate.and reception and waiting staff all very good, with exception of the manager who was quite intimidating. Good position for beaches, shops, rail and bus services. Lots of places nearby to visit.

Booked a voucher to stay at the hotel and when phoning to book a date I was told this was impossible to do, and was told I had to phone an 0800 number which would cost me. I was given no explanation for why this was, and was hung up on by an incredibly rude receptionist. I would recommend not... More
