I cannot believe this place. It's £100 a night. Check in is between 3.30 pm and 8.30pm. I phoned at 5.30 pm to say i would be later only to have the man on the phone tell me that he had sent me two emails that day asking me to tell him precisely when I would arrive and I had... More

I visited here with a friend, when we arrived the place was looking rather tatty from the outside not at all like the photo. Inside things got a little better although there was a smell of stale cigarette smoke lingering about. The welcome we received if that’s what you can call it was a shout from an open window advising... More

Stayed here a while ago and we were greeted by a man smoking who showed us our room (rooms were quite nice to be honest) anyway we stayed here and we didn't ever see the family that owned it felt like a bit of an inconvenience the whole time. Overall it was very overpriced after paying over £100 in total... More

After paying £90 for one room I was very disappointed with the service we received. We were welcomed in and shown out room and that is all we saw of the b&b owner, there was no one we could talk to if we had any problems, or even in the morning to check out. The bedroom feels very much like... More

My husband and I arrived in Newquay. We had to phone the proprietor to get directions and were really disappointed to have to drive over 20 minutes from Newquay to find it. It really is in the middle of nowhere, with a 24 hour service station located bang next door, BUT NOTHING ELSE. I had booked a B&B, but then... More

Stayed here for 4 nights while working in Truro. Room was spotless with a full sized TV, an amazing shower (with lights & music) and a flexible full English breakfast every morning - at a time that suited me rather than in an owner-imposed limited window. The B&B part of the building is a new extension, so everything is new... More

Having stayed here and read other reviews I am surprised that this B&B is only rated as "very good" Jeez, what do people expect for the money. Free parking, no noisy drunks on the street, no noise generally, beautiful views, tranquil and peaceful, very tasty breakfast and plenty of it, tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable, bed was large and comfortable,... We stayed for one night so that we could go to a party nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good TV; tea, coffee and cookies; and a good-sized en suite with lovely shower. Close to 24 hr petrol station so some noise and light - could maybe do with blackout blinds. Good full English breakfast in the... More

Stayed for 1 night on business but its location is perfect for visiting all the attractions that Cornwall has on offer. It's adjacent to the A30 and is only 15 minutes from Truro, Newquay and the coast at Perranporth. I received a friendly welcome and my room was at the front of the building and had a pleasant view over... More
