My Wife and I had a three night stay at the Best Western Hotel Bristol this February, a most enjoyable stay, comfortable sea view room with modern bathroom. On two nights we ate in the lounge bar, there was a good variety on the menu & our meal was tasty hot.

Thank you for writing a review. I am pleased to read you found the team friendly, helpful and efficient. I will ensure the team are made aware of your positive feedback. Room 148 is a gorgeous Sea View Room. The hotel has recently renovated many of the first-floor sea-view bathrooms. They have been changed from baths to showers. The reason for this was that we required walk-in showers for people that struggle to get into a bath. We still have sea view rooms on the second and third floor which have a bath with a shower overhead rather than a walk- in shower. When you next look to stay at the hotel, please give our reception team a call and they can ensure your room has a bath. Thank you for your comments. We work hard to ensure our guests enjoy their stay and by providing feedback this enables the hotel to provide a superior service to future guests. We look forward to your return.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is always lovely to receive positive comments. You are correct, it is a family business, the staff are treated as part of the family, and are always friendly and efficient. I will inform Pam, our Head Chef that you enjoyed the exquisite evening meals and were spoiled for choice at Breakfast. I'm sure she would love a Michelin star! Many of the staff at the hotel are dog owners themselves and understand that holidays are for family which means including your four- legged friend. The hotel is in an ideal location for dog owners with the Bay of Newquay, and the grassed Barrowfields just across the road from the hotel. We look forward to your return.
