It's not the Hilton but the staff are friendly and do their best. Hotels like these are changing for the better and need customers to keep them from becoming an elderly home. The spa looks better in the web page but with investment hopefully will improve. The breakfast was fresh and hot .

We had a two night stay at this hotel. We booked and paid for a room with a sea view. The room itself was lovely and very spacious, however the view from our room was a big ugly looking terrace and a wall and definitely not our idea of a sea view for which we had paid extra. In fact...

We spent 1 night here at the end of our trip to Cornwall; the rooms were clean and comfortable and suited our needs, though the hotel itself appeared a little run-down. We enjoyed using the swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room; the gym was a little old but was not an essential. There is a charge for the hotel car...

My colleague and I stayed here last week for a few nights and had a very warm welcome when we arrived. The rooms we had were extremely good value for money and had a great cooked breakfast with a amazing view to look at every morning! The lack of parking was the only let down but then we did have...

Sea view limited but OK, very clean room, housekeeping excellent., lovely old hotel with traditional features, some staff a bit slow, others very helpful. Newquay is a nice place in the winter as its quiet unless your a surfer than any time of year would be great.

We stayed on the top floor of this hotel in the Ocean suite and it was beautiful waking up to sites of the coast and eating breakfast on the balcony. The room was a bit dated but the building is old so what do you expect. There is lots of space and the bed is comfy, fridge cold and radiators...

The hotel is right in the middle of the town and overlooks the beach. We stayed for 2 nights in February, and it was lovely and peaceful, but I would imagine that it could get rather busy in high season. The receptionist was lovely when we arrived. She gave us all the information we needed about where we could go...

Was clean and room was large, staff very welcoming and the girl on reception was lovely! The whole place needs a refurb and would have been a top hotel in its day but was value for money so not too fussed! Food was okay and bar was nice! Would probably go back for the money it costed!
