We came to stay for 7 nights in a standard Courtyard room. We have found all the Staff very friendly and helpful. The room is quite large with a double and single bed, wardrobe, shower and bath, safe, coffee and tea facilities, bottled water daily, TV, towelling robe and slippers. The breakfast is excellent, with choices off the menu or... More

A relaxing enjoyable and unusually warm weekend in June spent with the family. Stunning views almost from every vantage. The terrace was perfect for a relaxed lunch with young(ish) children and even in the more formal restaurant in the evening the children were catered for. We stayed in a family room, which in all honesty I think the hotel should... More

I booked the 90min treatment, which included....reflexology, full body salt scrub, massage, facial and head massage.....cant recommend it enough! This is the first time I have been as I usually book the Bay Spa when on holiday and The Headland was far better...in every way! Better range of treatments, nicer surroundings with a gorgeous outdoor terrace specifically for Spa clients... More

We have stayed in the lodges twice with our friends and dogs, it's a lovely area and right on the edge of the beach! You would need to be able to drive in this location for day trips out. The spa is nice, however this time after advising staff on booking the trip and again once entering the spa, they... More

Just checked out, and yet again, another wonderful stay at this hotel for our babymoon. Lovely to see Bradley, Kat, and the mad French barman again by The Terrace, who were as always helpful and friendly. Lovely seeing familiar faces. Fistral suite was perfect, and we can't wait to come back again in the spring when there will be 4... More

Ideal location just outside Newquay, with views of the sea and beaches on three sides, surrounded by walks around the headland, and down to the magnificent Fistral Beach. The real winner were the staff - we did not see one single sour face, all the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The hotel is in the Edwardian style, with... More

This is the third time we have stayed in one on the cottages at the Headland Hotel and I thought it was about time that I make the effort to write a review as our 3 stays have been spread over a few years and clearly the owners take great pride in their business as not only are the cottages... It is lovely to see that having stayed three times in one of our gorgeous cottages, you find we continue to upgrade and maintain The Headland to the highest standards. You are right, there has certainly been ongoing investment and improvement by the Armstrong family in recent years. Our beautiful spa is among the latest of these and I am... More

Thank you for an interesting appraisal of your holiday at The Headland. It is good to see that you sum it up as a great enjoyable stay for the whole family. The reason for limiting the swimming times for children is to allow adult guests, who do not have children with them, set periods when they can enjoy a more... More

Bit on the expensive side, small english sized room but nice interior and ultra-clean and new bathroom. tv stations not great and tv size and location in the room a bit disappointing. Sea view was great but next doors room extended to the right and blocked the 180 view. Best rooms are on the first floor. Lovely lobby and lounge... More

Thank you very much for this lovely detailed feedback and for the many compliments you have paid us. I am very glad to see that, in the main, you enjoyed your break with us. Our main Restaurant sounds as though it was a little quiet during your stay, but it is often very full and does attract guests of all... More
