What can I say. From the minute we arrived we couldn’t have felt more welcome. The couple running the place were so lovely and very helpful throughout our stay too. The room was so clean and tidy. The view we had of the beach was incredible. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety. Location is fantastic. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Loved this place. We have visited Newquay several times but first time here. So happy to have found Cliff house. The view from the breakfast room was just wow. Great location, plenty of places to eat, drink & shop. Beautiful beaches, something for everyone; surfing, body boarding, swimming or just lying on the beach. Newquay Harbour below, which also has the Boathouse Street food on the beach, a great selection of all different foods in a beautiful setting. Lovingly decorated, giving a real homely feel. Clean, comfortable rooms with tea & coffee, fresh milk & water & toiletries. Amazing hosts, Rhia & Dom just so welcoming & nothing too much trouble, including specific dietary requirements. Great communication, even before we arrived, providing us with helpful advice. Breakfasts were super, with a great selection including full cooked. The granola was lovely & so well presented. So much care goes into everything Rhia & Dom do, it's clear they love what they do & care about their guests. We will be back, now we've found it. We stayed three nights at Cliff House and Dom & Rhia to be wonderful hosts. We don't usually stay at B&B's so we were uncertain as to what to expect. Our experience far exceeded our expectations. The room was large, clean and had a spectacular view of the ocean. The breakfasts were delicious and Rhia was able to accommodate a special request for gluten free bread. They had great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The location was great both for doing things in Newquay and for doing things all over Cornwall, as Newquay is centrally located. If you are visiting Cornwall, I would highly recommend the Cliff House.

My partner and I just got back from a 3 night stay at Cliff House and absolutely loved our stay! The b&b is in a great location, close to a local car park and an amazing short walk to the beach. We had booked a roadside room as we was viewing wedding venues and so thought we wouldn’t be in the room enough. The room was very cosy and nicely decorated but we can’t wait to come back and book a sea view room as the views really are spectacular and we missed out by not booking a sea view room for sure! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the breakfast room and enjoying the panoramic sea views which are just gorgeous. The breakfast was very filling and well cooked and the granola starter pots were very tasty. As well as a lovely cooked breakfast, there was often fresh brownies downstairs which my partner and I really enjoyed and thought was a lovely touch. There was also a really good fan in the room, fresh milk available right outside the room in a fridge and a chest of games for if the weather wasn’t great - all little things that make a stay special! The hosts Rhia and Dom were both welcoming hosts and very helpful in giving local recommendations and knew Cornwall well. We would highly recommend a stay here!…

Situated close to the harbour of Newquay and the south west coast past, with very friendly hosts, clean rooms with a welcome tray, a stunning view from the breakfast room with an excellent breakfast and killer brownies as icing of the cake. The place to stay when you are in Newquay.

We had a most wonderful time at Cliff House. From the moment we arrived we were met with warmth and friendliness. The owners were very nice and helpful with the direction and restaurant recommendation. The accomodation have a lots of character. The room was nicely decorated, very clean and had little treats such a biscuits, teas and coffees. We stayed in the double ensuite seview room which had absolutely breathtaking view. The breakfasts each day were outstanding with plenty of choices , but even better was the homemade brownie Rhia leaves in dining room for the guest. A lovely treat! Wonderful guest house, I would recommend this to anyone visiting Newquay.

B&B’s/Guest Houses are not my first choice when going away, however this superb place has changed my mind. We loved the interior design of this place and our room was a delight. At the top of the house it had panoramic views of the Harbour & Beach. There’s a wow moment when you arrive in the room which has three windows to take everything in! Very comfortable bed, spacious room and lovely en-suite. You can access the beach at the harbour (best place to park) easily and Towan Beach. You’re really close to restaurants, bars & shops. I can’t recommend this place enough. The welcome was as warm as the weather, they go above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay.

We spent three nights at Cliff House and have nothing but praise! The location was perfect.. minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants! The view from our room was breath-taking, the room was fresh and comfortable with everything we needed! Breakfast was yummy, there was lots to choose from and portions were generous and fuelled us for the day! My partner especially loved the home made granola as did we also love Rhia’s brownies which were on offer in the afternoon, which was a lovely touch. Thank you Rhia and Dom for having us! This was our first visit to Cliff House and Newquay and we loved it! Hope to be back one day!

We have just got home after spending a few days at the Cliff House, I can not recommend this guest house enough! Rhia and Dom have made our stay just perfect, a home from home feel. They are great hosts who went out of their way to make sure our stay was not only comfortable but memorable to, providing us with great recommendations as to where to eat or go during the day. The property is very clean and welcoming, beds super comfy, views absolutely amazing. We stayed in the Towan suite, and the view of the harbour is amazing and very quiet. The breakfast was amazing, Rhia's homemade granola is a must, as are her cakes. The Cliff House breakfast (full english) very yummy and not at all greasy. Without doubt we will be booking again. The Cliff House is a little gem in a very beautiful location. We've been home just three hours and are already checking our diaries.…
