Due to my own fault I arrived at the hotel on the wrong date and unfortunately they were full ! However Debbie in reception was absolutely fantastic and after around 20 calls she managed to find me alternative accommodation for the night. Not many hotel staff would do that. Will definitely be back and will check my reservation next time... More

This is a very smart bar in a very smart hotel, and no doubt many others will rate it highly - so why not me? It's all to do with personal preference and expectations really. Think of cosy, good old traditional Cornish pubs - then think of the complete opposite and you get a picture of the bar in The... More

We stayed here for a three night break and had a great time. The hotel, bar and restaurants have a great feel with a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and service is good. The beer selection and wine list are good. The location of the hotel is a short walk down to the beautiful harbour... More

If you want a long lazy lunch this place is hard to beat. We came here after many visits to the Gurnard's Head, and if anything, I might like this place even more. Expect a hotel restaurant with the vibe of a really good, but large, gastro pub...papers, board games, wood fire, some great booze, excellent food especially the seafood...plus... More

We went to the Old Coastguard for dinner in July, having been there a few times last summer. The service is consistently incredible, the food is mainly amazing. It has a cosy laid back charm whilst being kind of posh at the same time if that makes sense. Definitely recommend it.
