Had a delicious home made fish pie at the Ship Inn in Mousehole today and my husband had a tasty fish and chips with excellent batter. A good variety on the menu and not too expensive. Recommend a visit, such a lovely location and dog friendly.

The Ship Inn is great, stayed for 7 nights and had the best week, the room was really clean and lovely, great welcome from the staff, breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the staff were always smiling. Gave us packed lunch so we could leave early on our last day. I really recommend this place if you are staying in... More

Stayed three nights in a local B&B & tried The Ship Inn on recommendation. This is obviously a locals well kept secret as secured the only unreserved table the first night and booked for the follow two. There is a good variety of food which is well cooked and very well presented. Service is excellent and the prices are very... More

Set right in the harbour, the main bars retain a wonderful atmosphere in this lovely old setting. Luckily got a seat in the main bar (didn't like the look of the side restaurant which lacked atmosphere). Food was good value , as were drinks. Fish pie very good. Friendly service. Driving is a bit of a nightmare in the narrow... More

The highlights of our stay were the fabulous harbour view from our bedroom window and the delicious breakfast. This is an ancient village pub and very popular with the locals. Staff were helpful and friendly. The parking is horrendous as the streets are very narrow. We found a space on the harbour and walked everywhere.

The Ship Inn is a traditional beam-ceilinged harbourside pub. Dogs are allowed in the bar and upstairs on a small inland-facing outside terrace. The staff were friendly and the food was good. I had the fisherman's pie and even the dog was given a biscuit. Wifi is available.

My wife and I stayed in Mousehole for our honeymoon. The Ship Inn was a 30 second walk from the front door of our cottage for the week. We visited most evenings for a drink and ate at the pub twice. The bar area is a nice place to sit and enjoy a pint and we found that the pub... More

When I booked this hotel, it seemed expensive even though they have a bit of a captive market in Mousehole. I also noticed negative remarks on Tripadvisor. So when I arrived and decided to eat here, I noticed a rather "tired" menu but a blackboard full of imaginative looking "specials" in fact there were almost more specials than there were... More

Whilst staying in Penzance we visited the Ship Inn on spec for a meal and a drink. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and although the menu choice is a little limited the food was first class. I had the fish and chips and can honestly say the Korev beer batter was the best I have ever tasted and the... More
