Spent 3 nights at the Ship Inn. Great little spot and perfect location. Wanted the fishing village experience and we got that. Room had a great view over the harbour. Room was nice and tidy and the bathroom clean. Staff were great to deal with and very friendly and helpful on local attractions. Expect to walk with suitcases from local... More

We went to a local festival late in the day and although there were a lot of drinkers there we managed to get seats. The staff were helpful. We had the local ale but no food but it was a great little place and not to be missed when visiting Mousehole.

We stayed here from 21 - 23 July, in room 2 which has a fantastic view of the harbour. Overall, our stay was very good - the room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The location, too, was excellent - right on the harbour front and therefore within walking distance of everything in the picturesque village. The breakfast that... More

Called in for lunchtime drinks on our visit to quaint Mousehole. Very pretty village but not a lot there - except The Ship! Good ales and really nice interior. Don't go to Mousehole without calling in here.

We called in for a drink and really liked the pub so went back for dinner. The waiting staff were very pleasant and the starters were lovely. We order catch of the day, cod, one battered one grilled. The grilled fish was ok but the battered fish smelled really awful, of ammonia. Asked for a different fish and this was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as we were wanting to walk the coastal path. We had booked a double room with a sea view and recently updated. It was lovely - at the top of the adjoining annexe, (the stairs and corridors had not been updated but those you just pass through!) The room was spacious with a large bed... More

Booked in for 1 night last week on our way back from the Scilly Isles. On arrival were made to feel very welcome by the staff and although near the end of service they were very accommodating in finding us a table in the restaurant. Food was excellent as was the breakfast the following morning. There was also a good... More

I stayed here with my daughter for a week holiday. The pub was lovely and sits on the harbour front the rooms were perfect and had such a little Cornish cottage feel to them. The area is breath taking. Will definitely be returning. I must include how amazing the breakfast was :)

A tired but nice room (albeit small and expensive) with a fantastic view and good bed. However, if you are vegetarian then don’t eat at the pub as clearly the chef does not understand the word: vegetarian option was ‘sea food platter’!

Stayed here last week for one night. We were traveling around Cornwall hadn't made reservations to stay any where in particular so it was getting late in the day and luckily we happened on the ship inn, lucky because they had only one room left to stay in . The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The room was... More
