This was the first time we have visited Deganwy under new ownership and the changes they have made have really given the place a welcome face lift. Breakfast was great too. Visited for the 4th time running for the Looe music festival as location is superb.

Just got back from my second visit this year....and have already booked another this year and two for next year....need I say more? OK, I will....Dave and Donna really do know how to make you welcome without really looking like they are trying - in fact, I don't think they are - it comes naturally!

Can't praise Donna and Dave enough. New to the business but complete naturals. Sincere, friendly and welcoming. Beautiful views. Will be back soon but given the number of repeat guests we will book well in advance.

Stayed with Donna and David for two nights. Lovely hotel with stunning views across the river. Our room was beautifully decorated and comfy and had a wonderful view directly out onto the river. The hotel was full but Donna and David both went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They went out... More

After arriving following a 4 hour train journey we were greeted by Donna and Dave with a warm welcome, coffee and biscuits (and a beer for the other half lol). Dave took our bags up to our room which was a lovely touch. They are two of the nicest people and we were always greeted by name and a smile.... More

We had a great weekend and were looked after by Dave and Donna so well. They even offered to dry our clothes after we were caught in a downpour. A fantastic breakfast (freshly cooked) each morning set us off for a great day. In the evening Dave was around in the bar and we were always made to feel welcome.... More

Thanks to new landlords Dave & Donna for a great stay during Looe Music Festival 2016, there opening hospitality of the offer of a cuppa was well received by us and a mutual chat being new owners. The renovations ongoing are very refreshing and the opening of the bar for a late night cap was well received by us and... More

So lucky to have found this hotel, great welcome, great freshly cooked breakfast, exceptionally clean. Coming back next year when visiting the festival. Went out of their way after getting drenched in Saturday to dry out gear. Highly recommended. Thank you

From the moment we arrived at the Deganwy guest house we knew we made the right choice for a place to stay. We were greeted by Donna and Dave who are warm, friendly and funny and who will go above and beyond for their guests. Our room (2) was very clean and comfortable with beautiful views overlooking the estuary. The... More

We have stayed at the Deganwy several times over the last 20 years, because we like the location and the value for money. The present owners, Donna and Dave, have updated and improved the rooms. The breakfasts are excellent, and the owners most helpful. Car parking is available over the road. Would we stay here again.. YES..
