Great views across the bay to the east from room with a balcony and from the restaurant or bar. Steps up to reception not so good for elderly people and showers over bath are difficult to get into as baths are high sided. Food in the restaurant is good quality with plenty of vegetables. Service can be variable and was... More

I went there with a group of customers for afternoon tea. Not just cream tea (tea and scones with clotted cream and jam), but a proper afternoon tea with scones, cakes, and sandwiches. Trays and trays of delicious food and plenty of tea. I must say that I had already been there with another group just for cream tea, and... More

We booked to stay here for a weekend, I booked directly over the phone but when we arrived we were told that the hotel was hosting the local prom, had this been mentioned when booking I could of made other arrangements. On arrival we made our way to reception through a very tired and dated area, this was when the... More

We stayed here in June 2016 for our wedding anniversary and had a brilliant time. All the staff are very polite and helpful. We upgraded to a sea view room but were given a suite which was huge and had fantastic views. We ate in the restaurant (£25 each for 4 courses) and it was fantastic - beautiful, superb food,... Location, service, cuisine and a great pub! What else could you ask for? The inn's setting is remarkable. We could have stayed by the windows or on the decks for hours. Gracious hospitality. Fun time in the pub after hours with a coach group singing until the wee small hours. Definitely worth returning to!
