We had a lovely time at Cherrywood Lodge. One big draw for us was that the property also had parking. Once there we did not use or car at all, as some lovely walks in the town and also on to Polperro. We also used the local Train line as it is very picturesque. There all loads of places to eat both during the day and at night. Cherrywood Lodge is a boutique B & B with many quirky and personal touches. It is beautifully decorated within and the breakfasts are wonderful as are Annie and Ralph the owners. They make their own fresh bread each morning for quests and very knowledgeable regarding the area if you have any questions/ queries. It is only a short stroll from the property into the town. If I only had one niggle it would be the locked gate by the road side. When it is dark it is very difficult to see the key pad and press in the codes. There are also steps down Maybe a light would be a bonus, or if not perhaps a small torch for quests in each room to use. Other than that it was perfect.

Wonderful experience. One of the best breakfasts you will ever get anywhere, check the specials board! The rooms are all wonderfully clean and comfortable, some nice little touches. Would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommended. This is a well-placed B&B with parking (essential for a visit to Looe). The room we had was very comfortable and to a high specification. Lots of lovely touches - fresh milk in a mini-fridge is so welcome (other places take note!) Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfasts (both in size and options) and a very friendly welcome.

Beautifully decorated and owners Ralph and Annie are very lovely and welcoming. Rooms are clean and have lovely touches and little extras to make your stay wonderful. Breakfast was great and the location nice an close to town. We would happily book with them again when we return to Looe!

Stayed for three nights in early September and were absolutely delighted with the quality of this beautiful guest house. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left we were made to feel welcome by charming hosts Annie and Ralph. Our room was spotless and superbly decorated throughout with plenty of both hanging and drawer space. And as for breakfast! On our first morning I had the "full English" and I can honestly say it was the best cooked breakfast I have ever eaten. The next two mornings my wife and I both chose from the extensive selection shown on the specials board. Each meal was absolutely faultless, complimented by toast made with Ralph's excellent home baked bread. The property is only a few minutes walk from the town centre and offers free off street parking. There were many extra little touches that made our stay even more special. A fridge in the room, a jug of fresh milk replenished daily, bottled mineral water, a splendid selection of teas and coffee, sweets and chocolates. We have stayed in expensive hotels that provided far less. All in all a memorable stay in a guest house that I could not recommend more highly.
