The room that we stayed in had double aspect views of the sea and although the hotel is a little tired in places, the atmosphere that the staff create is so welcoming one overlooks the odd spiders web in the corner! It was also a convenient base to travel to various sites within Cornwall and the owner is only too... More

We arrived earlier than thought, and although we were too early for our room to be ready, Julian welcomed us and was very friendly. We left our car in the ample spaced car park and walked the short distance into Looe. Upon our return, Julien showed us our lovely room and the view from the balcony was amazing! The hotel... More

This hotel has some of the best views I have seen in this country and that's from almost every room, that alone was worth the money. Great gardens and a good sized outdoor swimming pool added to this and kept the kids happy. Our room was comfortable but did need a bit of updating. Breakfast was good and food served... More

A warm welcome and a lovely surprise to find such beautiful sub-tropical gardens. An outdoor pool completes this well cared for, colourful space. I stayed overnight in a single room at the rear of the hotel which was comfortable, well equipped and good value for money. Dinner and Breakfast were delicious with plenty of choice and a Dinner menu changing... More

We have just returned home from a wonderful long weekend break. The location of the hotel is really good and the weather was very hot and sunny. The hotel had stunning sea views from most parts of the hotel. Beautiful gardened pool area with sea views .... breathtaking!! Our room (4) was a good size, very clean, old fashioned style... More

Just returned from a fantastic break in Looe. Brilliant hotel with a cracking sea view from our room and balcony. Our food was unfailingly delicious , especially pertinent given Jane is a veggie! Julian and all his staff were absolutely brilliant , couldn't do enough for everyone. Would definitely return next time we holiday in this glorious town and area.

We stayed in a family room with a double bed and bunk beds for our two teenaged boys. Our room was facing the water and had a beautiful view and we watched the sunset and the misty sunrise the next morning. Julian, our host, was helpful and shared with us the best footpath back down to the town as well... More

For the price charged for a double room and family room, disappointing. Family room dark and old fashioned, double room dead spider found in bathrobe, drinks very expensive, charged £4.00 for a can of cider! Dead spiders in the lounge, grubby. Only thing good was the breakfast.

Dear susanne j "Disappointing" We too are disappointed with your review.
