Absolutely stunning cottages. You can tell there has been a lot of time and love put into the cottage, everything was so clean and well looked after. Fully equipped also. Swimming pool and games areas spotless also. The dog area was safe and contained. Found a gem in this place and will sure to be back. Thank you again.

Just leaving Fox Valley cottages after the most amazing week. The cottages are set in beautiful grounds with stunning views. We stayed in Grist cottage which has been recently updated with a lovely bathroom. It was perfect for the 4 of us with comfortably beds, plenty of storage space and wonderful views from the lounge window. You get a seating area with table and chairs and a BBQ outside in the garden area and there are even coals provided for the BBQ. Loads for kids to do the swimming pool was a massive hit and it can be used all day long until 9pm at night. A games room, football area and play ground all came in very handy for them to make friends. Perfect location 10 mins to Polperro and a bit further to Looe lots of beaches near by. Very helpful owners who answered any questions we had very quickly. They recommended a local Chinese takeaway that delivered which was delicious. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we will be recommending these cottages to family and friends and we can’t wait to return.

We have just spent a wonderful week at Fox Valley Cottages over half term. We stayed in Culver (2 adults, 5 year old and dog) which was lovely and cosy yet plenty of room for all of us. We went swimming every day and made good use of the facilities, which far exceed any similar accomodation we have stayed at (dog field and dog wash/dog towels so useful!).
The setting is stunning and the grounds are beautifully kept - loved the dahlias and flowers in the garden. Our son loved the Halloween pumpkin trail and sweets - a lovely touch. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have already booked for October 2023, we didn’t want to leave!

Information on booking and checking in was well organised with lots of detail prior to arrival. Staying 4 nights in Eyrie cottage, we arrived to a cream tea treat! The surrounding area is lovely countryside and the cottages are fresh and clean with all 'home from home' needs. The grounds and pool area are kept immaculate. What an absolute gem to find! We had a lovely long weekend at Fox Valley Cottages. It provided exactly what we needed for both our 18 month old - a lovely outdoor play area, a warm, well maintained and clean indoor swimming pool with hot tub, and also our collie dog - dog friendly cottage and a secure dog field. We stayed in Fox's Den, which was so cosy and homey, especially with the fire, and had all the amenities we needed. We were provided with a highchair, cot and stairgate. And the stars on a clear night were magnificent. Half an hour drive from the Eden Project, and a 10 minute drive to beautiful dog friendly beaches and the coastal path. Terri and Chris were so helpful with any thing we asked. We definitely plan to return.

We have just returned from our second stay at Fox Valley, this time in The Covey cottage. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and well provided, along with its own secluded garden area.
Fox Valley Cottages is a very picturesque setting and Terri and Chris make you feel very welcome. The grounds are immaculately tended while the atmosphere is very tranquil making for a relaxing holiday. The location being near Looe is excellent for for taking-in some great local beaches which with a dog, was perfect.
As I said we have stayed there twice and wouldn't hesitate in staying there again.

We have just returned home from a wonderful stay at fox valley cottages. The site is idyllic, and set in the beautiful Cornish countryside, with easy accessibility to many tourist spots. The cottage we stayed in (Grist) was very clean and comfortable, with amazing views. It was well equipped, and with each cottage having their own garden seating, table and bbq provided, being a nice touch. The swimming pool and games room were a great hit, with my family. The owners are lovely and friendly and there if needed, but they also leave you to enjoy your stay, with no fuss. The welcome complimentary cream tea was very much appreciated, after our long journey. Due to the current COVID pandemic, the measures they had in place were first class. Our accommodation was supplied with hand sanitiser and quarantined provisions such as tea/coffee/dishwasher tablets, as well as plenty of towels. It was also reassuring to see so many hand sanitising stations around the site, I also witnessed regular cleansing of play equipment, communal seating, bin areas, as well anything else that could be cross contaminated. This was meticulous and occurred several times a day. Overall the cleaning routine and measures in place, made us feel very safe, and showed us that the guests safety was paramount, with no corners cut, in what are very unfamiliar circumstances for everyone. All in all, a fantastic stay. We highly recommend Fox Valley Cottages, and like many others, will certainly be going back!

Having stayed in a smaller cottage several years ago I decided to book up the beautiful cottage for the week that is 'The Foxes Den'. This cottage will exceed your expectations.
From initial welcoming which is sent via email explaining the who, what, where and whens you walk into a luxurious cottage as if it was your own. Everything you could need for self catering is here. The cottage immediately felt welcoming and was stunningly clean. In fact the owners have done some updating and renovation since I was last here.... There is a lovely little play area for younger children, the garden area are extremely well kept with beautiful borders and flowers and plants I could go on but you'll need to see yourself.
Having a pool, jacuzzi and sauna are a huge bonus with children looking to burn off energy from our days out, the pool is a parents delight. A games room next door with table tennis, pool and air hockey and this would be my only criticism of the entire stay, they could do with a new pool table as it is tired but it is acceptable for the kids.
Stunning views all throughout, the view from our bedroom, the front room window, the dog park area just everywhere you look its a postcard.
No issues with other customers staying in Fox Valley at all, in fact my children made some lovely friends whilst staying here and they played all week whilst within the grounds. Everyone was outside having a bbq or happy to stop and chat about anything and everything whilst we were 'home'.
If your in a party, coming as a couple, a small family or a large family and have dogs you need to stay here. I would highly recommend Fox Valley Cottages. This stay made the holiday feel relaxing at each end of the day. I will be back 100%.

Fox Valley Cottages are cosy and well equipped set in a stunning location with birds and Bees. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. There is a pool area with sauna and hot tub with a shower toilet room. Great for kids and dogs. A games room and loads of board games. There is a large enclosed dog field and dog wash area. The Cottages are very clean and cosy, bed was comfortable. We stayed in the Grist. Highly recommended and our young kids loved it here.

We had an amazing stay at Fox Valley Cottages. We stayed in Foxes Den which is a lovely spacious two bedroom cottage, everything we needed was provided. The cottage an surrounding areas were pristine and totally Covid safe. We had so much fun in our allocated slots for pool and hot tub, also included if required were a games room and a child friendly play area. The host was constantly maintaining high Covid standards. We did not have dogs but it is clearly a dog friendly environment. All in all we would highly recommend this stay for everyone - adults children and dogs. We will be back!!
