Simon and Edwina are the most delightful hosts, gorgeous room with a stunning view, gorgeous breakfast, handy offstreet parking 100yds away from the B&B, nice and central next to all the great bars/restaurants in East Looe and to top it off, fresh homemade biscuits. Utterly brilliant stay, we'll be back as soon as we can!

Loved the place from the minute we walked through the door. The room, the ensuite, the bed, the homemade biscuits, the view down to the river from the bay window & the sea from the side window. Outside parking was a bonus. Nothing was too much trouble for Simon - his breakfast was spot on. We seriously couldn't have asked for more. Even the January weather seemed spring like. We will definitely be back

Perfect location for your stay in Looe I’m so happy we booked this property, after first lockdown was so uncertain to travel, but I’m so thankful we chose this lovely and cozy room with a breathtaking view to the bay (would like to mention you can see the sea just from the side window) The property is 5-7 minutes walk from the beach. We had a spotless room, very tasty freshly cooked English breakfast. Highly recommend! Would never forget the breathtaking view from the terrace, was so romantic!

in a tricky place but excellent directions from the host meant an easier find than may have been expected. upstairs room gave a fantastic view over the bay which was a bonus. the hill to and from the "town" of looe was fortunately short! the host was very friendly and the room spotless. breakfast was also very good. parking outside was a massive bonus. overall a very pleasant stay.

Just spent two lovely days for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Simon made us very welcome and room lovely and very comfortable and large. Lovely modern bathroom. Everything you can think of available in room fridge, tea facilities, iron and hairdryer. All around windows to look out over Looe. The Cornish breakfast cooked by Simon was delicious and set you up for the day and nice touch in yr room homemade cookies. Would highly recommend this B&B and hope to return. Simon is right book yr restaurants before you arrive.

We had a lovely stay at this b&b in August 2021. Our room was immaculate and had a lovely little balcony that over looked Looe harbour. It was lovely to sit and watch the lights of Looe come on whilst having a lovely drink on the balcony. On our arrival the couple had even baked some lovely biscuits that morning and left them in our room, we thought this was a lovely touch. The couple who own the b&b were very friendly and Simon cooked us a lovely full English and went out of his way to cook it how you wanted it.

Room Tip: It might be best to contact the couple at the b&b directly about parking as we ended up parking...

Myself and my partner stayed here for 3 nights at the end of June and had a wonderful time. Simon was incredibly welcoming and friendly. This property has one en-suite room that they rent out so you are their only guests at any one time. The room is lovely and has all the facilities you could possibly need, not to mention the fantastic views of Looe We felt very comfortable the entire time and felt very at home. Breakfast was lovely and Simon caters to personal dietary requirements, the home made biscuits were a definite win! We stayed 4 different properties over the week and this was by far our favourite! Would recommend to everyone!

Came with a friend for 3 nights... Clean, comfortable room with beautiful views of the village and sea. Host exactly as described, friendly and attentive yet also allowing us to feel we had the place to our own. Homemade biscuits were delicious as was the cooked breakfast with locally sourced meat. Breakfast choices included everything you could wish for, so much choice! Simon was so accommodating and would have been more than happy to knock something else up if requested. The loveliest touch was when, realising it was my friend's birthday, they left her a card, postcard and bottle of prosecco in the room. Close to Looe centre and beach, just a steep walk back up the hill, which goes with staying in Cornwall! I consider this a gem of a find and hope to return in future.

Penwyn is an excellent bnb, which is located in the most ideal location in the centre of town. Despite its central location, it is nice and quiet as the guesthouse is found up one of the hills on a side road. The room was so clean, spacious, bright, with everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious, with a selection of cereals, spreads, yoghurt, toast, and a cooked breakfast, which was made to order. Breathtaking views of the harbour are what made the stay even more spectacular though- and they're seen directly from the balcony of the room! Not to mention the delicious cookies that were homemade by the host, Simon, and left in our room daily. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We'll return I'm sure!
