A lovely cosy atmosphere with a wide range of drinks and local ales. Friendly staff and locals who made you feel very welcome. Entertainment available on some evenings including Cornish folk music that creates an authentic Cornish atmosphere.

This little pub holds a piece of history between its crooked stairs, dark beams, low ceilings and rough floors. If you want to feel the history in Looe this is a great place to start. The pub is bursting with character you can imagine what may have happened in these rooms over the 500 years that it has been in... More

Had to take a look at the oldest pub in Looe (celebrating 500 years old this year) and stay for a couple of drinks. Food not available, entertainment poster in window, but no entertainment forthcoming, only football on tv. A choice of real ales available which were recommended. The Addlestones cider was the only still/scrumpy type available and it was... More

This is a great pub great ales and a great atmosphere we had a lovely couple of evenings here and is in my view a "proper job" it has regular folk and traditional evenings The pub is tucked away near the fire station away from the main streets in Looe but well worth seeking out

Our second stay at The Jolly. The pub and all the staff are brilliant, all are really friendly and helpful. The pub is in West Looe which is the quieter side of the river and within easy walking distance of various eateries. This is a locals pub but they are a great bunch who are more than willing to chat... More

Really fabulous pub with great atmosphere. Very friendly staff who are very helpful particularly helping you to park at the back of the pub. The breakfast is really good and the rooms large and comfortable. Just be prepared for steep flights of stairs to the bedrooms. Only thing missing is food in the evenings.

Had a lovely drink here while listening to a great live duo performing. Old fashioned pub that has accommodation in West Looe. Prices very good and landlord very friendly. Would have loved to have stayed all evening but had somewhere else to be unfortunately!

We went to Looe for a family wedding and decided to make a weekend of it so booked 3 nights at the Jolly. We are so glad we did. We were greeted by Max, the very friendly head barman. Made us feel welcome from minute one. Breakfast was a delight cooked by Di on the Saturday and Monday and Juliet... More

Tucked away on the 'other side' of the estuary is this great pub(officially known as East Looe) - it's a true old fashioned proper pub, full of olde world charm and does just what is says on the tin...it's a pub. We arrived just after lunchtime opening to find the very friendly landlord brassoing the tables but he took time... More
