I stayed here the night before my wedding and for me the staff really made the experience. Everyone was very welcoming and excited, they made me and my family an early breakfast so we could start getting ready and everything felt very personal. We'd taken over half the place and the owner let us use the sitting area for flowers...

A warm welcome from the owner on our arrival was a good start. Very comfortable room particularly the beds which aided our sleep! The place was well decorated and very clean. Breakfast was tasty too. Will hopefully return one day.

Opting to visit Cornwall for a few days I chose the Chellowdene and we weren't sorry. I'd love to give Julie and Troy full marks but have to agree with previous comments about the small room and noise (though not much during our stay). The whole house is spotless and good use is made of limited space e.g. in the...

I Should have double checked before booking. Not all rooms are en-suite. Arrived and had a top floor room, no 6 with a separated bathroom. Room was small with sloping ceiling you couldn't sit on the bed to watch tv as you hit your head on the ceiling. The room did have a nice sea view. Bathroom was well appointed...

Just finished my 5th stay at Chellowdene. I've been staying there for the last 4 years because I love it. The owners Julie and Troy look after me so well. Their rooms are wonderfully comfortable, the bedding is pristine and the beds so comfortable, it's hard to get up for breakfast! Chellowdene is spotlessly clean and offers guests a parking...

Fabulous location, right on top of Gyllinvase beach, stayed here for 4 nights, thoroughly enjoyed it, crisp clean white bedding, lovely clean bright room with balcony and fab breakfast with plenty to chose from, my only sad thing was we only booked for 4 nights but decided to stay for a week and no vacancies so had to sell to...

Booked this hotel last minute and didn't check that the price didn't include breakfast( an extra £7.50 pp). We decided to get breakfast elsewhere so can't comment on the quality. We had a room with a balcony so the view was nice. The room was quite small as well as the bathroom which only had a very small sink. The...

Stayed here again, sixth visit to this B & B and it is still as good as it was on my first stay 2 years ago. :-) The owners are friendly, welcoming and dedicated to making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As with all the other B & Bs on this road, parking is restricted but the...

Service spot on, lovely hosts. Room just a little small with limited wardrobe space. Quilt far too thick for this time of year. Would have preferred towels changed daily instead of being folded damp. Breakfast superb with plenty of choice.
