My partner and I stayed here for one night on Sunday 28th August. We stayed in room 404. The room was one of their refurbished rooms and it was a very quiet, cosy (small) room. I had asked for a high floor level, refurbished, quiet room and that's exactly what we got so top marks for listening and providing what... More

Booked a sea view room, and got a nice corner room on the first floor, which had two balconys, bubble bath and a spacious seating area. Good service, but the hotel itself does look a bit tired. Also remember to book spa treatment in advance if you'd like one.

Used a token from local paper for a cream tea. The setting is idyllic with great views of the bay. The tea was great with lovely scones and lashings of cream and jam. We were treated well and, I suspect, no different from someone paying a lot more.

I was a guest at a family celebration on 27th August. The celebration was beautifully organised by the hotel, the food was good and the service excellent and unobtrusive. The gardens and the view from the hotel are just lovely and the gardens are well maintained. The view to the castle and over the bay just can not be bettered.... More

We were married in this magical hotel 50 years ago and it was compered throughout by Mr Fields before his nephew took over the management . It was a wonderful affair then and our Golden Wedding was still extending the same welcome last weekend ,under the current management . Of course ,the location is superb looking out across the awe-... More

We only stayed one night, but wish it could have been longer! Lovely position, walking distance of station and easy access in to Falmouth. From moment we walked in all the staff made us feel welcome. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a well cooked meal, a feast for the eye as well as a great taste. The bar... More

With an amazing location, views and generally helpful staff The Falmouth Hotel is let down by its very tired and run down appearance both inside and out. I was there for a family gathering and many of us commented on the poor state of the place. Our function room was in a poor state with paint on the lampshades. The... More

We booked 4 nights here and found the location fantastic. Arrived at 11pm and quickly checked in. Our room (110) was very tired and in need of update. Woodchip wallpaper, old carpet, very creaky floorboards in our room and above (so much so that you could hear the people in the room upstairs at 615am) The walls were thin as... More

The Falmouth is situated in a wonderful location overlooking falmouth bay. It has stunning views from the dining room and bar. The room we had was an inland room but we had a lovely side view of falmouth bay and a delight to wake upto. The swimming pool is wonderful and a relaxing area to enjoy. The town is a... More

The hotel although a little dated was very clean and well presented. Staff were very friendly and polite, would have no problem staying here again. A short walk into Falmouth town with an unusually large number of different restaurants.
