We were taken here by friends for a Cream Tea recently and found the place little changed since my last visit about 6 years ago. The position of the place is fantastic, overlooking the seafront, however be aware that there is limited parking spaces. There was a wedding going on with the usual high spiritedness that goes with it. That... More

We chose this hotel for our 51st wedding anniversary. The reception staff were very welcoming and the impression given from the ground floor was luxurious with wonderful views from the lounge/bar/dining room. However, the bedroom (110) was small and very dated with two single beds placed in an odd position given the size of the room. Whilst everything was very... More

We took our grandchildren here for a night away. The room was old fashioned but large, clean and comfortable. The staff were really welcoming and great with the children. The swimming pool had separate times for the children to swim which meant no worries about splashing and noise. Would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are travelling with children. We... More

My room was on the top floor (4), the single bed was really small and the room was even smaller. No mini bar and the complimentary shower condiments were really harsh! The overall internal appearance of the hotel is that it's dated and needs massive investment. IMHO, if the hotel was bought up to date, it would have a better... More

We got married 10 years ago in this hotel and had a lovely time, so for our 10th anniversary, decided to go back. They charged over £200 for a sea view room for one night in August, including dinner. When we arrived, staff were so friendly and welcoming, couldn't have been nicer, and so nice of them to put an... More

Stayed here midweek in a seaview room. The room was large and full of character. The bathroom had lovely free smellies, robes and slippers. We did not eat an evening meal but the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Great staff. Will definately visit again.

Recently stayed at the falmouth hotel as it was where one of my friends chose to get married. The views were spectacular! We stayed in the apartments which were just around the corner from the hotel itself and although they didn't look like much from the outside, they were actually perfect. They had everything we needed and more for a... More

We booked into the restuarant as non residents for a family get together. We were given a lovely table by the window overlooking the gardens and sea.The food was excellent and the the service first class and the whole evening was beautifully managed by Katie.

Ok the saving grace of this hotel is its staff, the chap with long ginger hair behind the bar was brilliant so happy friendly and pleasant... Down stairs is ok, tired but clean and pleasant... So the room.... Wow it was tired and tatty, headboard wood chipped so I got a splinter from a share edge, window rattles, light didn't... More

Stayed recently for a wedding at Pendennis Castle. Stayed 1 night with my daughter, was meant to be another adult too but due to illness she couldn't come. Sadly I was refused a refund as I hadn't cancelled in time but didn't know until the day that the other adult was ill. Very disappointed but on a plus note hotel,... More
