The Lerryn was pleasant. Breakfast was first rate but a bit chaotic when busy. Didn't have occasion to speak with staff much but they were very pleasant. Room was comfortable and airy but wouldn't describe as deluxe which was why I booked it. If hotel was fully updated would be ideal.

We stayed 3 nights here and treated ourselves to a balcony room which was well worth it. The room itself was big with a huge bed, 2 small rocking chairs, a massive flat screen tv and both a shower and bath (shower did have a mind of it's own though). There were 2 big floor to ceiling windows letting in... More

we stayed here for three nights as a base to visit Cornwall, we were made to feel very welcome and the room was big with a view of the sea, free wifi and coffee etc. We had a freshly cooked breakfast every morning which was very nice. There was ample free parking in the nearby streets.

We stayed at The Lerryn in late September for a week and requested evening meals on top of breakfast which the hotel were happy to provide. It was a very convenient location in Falmouth for walks along the sea front and central for visiting other areas. It is a family run hotel with welcoming staff with a great choice of... More

We stayed for four nights together with three other couples. Each room was quite different. So while we had a large sea-view room with a balcony but not a great deal of space for hanging our clothes - the others had smaller rooms but with more wardrobe space. ( If any of these things matter to you - talk to... More

My boyfriend and I booked a room here for one night over the weekend. We had a deluxe room; the bed was massive but the room was surprisingly small. The bathroom was minuscule with barely enough room to close the door once you're in, but as we were only there for one night it was not a problem. The shower... More

This was my second visit to the Lerryn. I returned as I had been very happy with my previous stay in room 9. This time however, I was allocated room 19 on the top floor. The room was just as lovely, clean, well decorated, comfy bed, plenty of towels, tea and coffee etc. The shower lets this room down. I... More

Friendly and great welcome which was nice as we wanted our dog with us. Fantastic breakfast and very well presented. Honesty bar for use throughout the day. Decent sized room and large flat screen TVs. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay in Falmouth. Very clean & gorgeous breakfast. Staff very welcoming & friendly. Beautiful bed linen with wonderful cotton sheets & choccie's on the pillows. We will definitely be returning.

Very difficult to get too enthusiastic or too negative about Lerryn. Like all places of its type, there are severe limitations on how it can be upgraded to modern expectations due to the layout of the original Victorian building. With that caveat, the owners have done a pretty good job - our room (although small and pretty cramped) was well... More
