Great location with views out to sea. The lovely decking area, overlooking the garden was wonderful on a sunny afternoon to indulge in the Penmorvah cream tea! Bedroom and on suite comfortable if a little dated. Breakfasts were excellent, the evening meal a little disappointing although the starter of scallops was delicious. All the staff were extremely pleasant and very... More

We actually spent the majority of our holiday in the lovely cottages in the hotel grounds but spent the last night in the hotel and ate breakfast and evening meal several times at the restaurant as well as a couple of afternoon teas throughout the fortnight. My husband and I, along with our two young children, could not have been... More

Tired rooms and public areas. Visit started with unfriendly welcome. Room nothing like those shown on website. Cracked sink, added hair on bathroom tiles - yuk - bar shut at 8.55pm on our return from dinner out. To cap it all they ran out of eggs for my breakfast. Disappointed.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Delightful garden area to sit and relax with distant sea views. Woodland area around garden lovely for a little stroll with our dog who was also made very welcome. Our room was a little tired and needed updating but as we spent most of our time in the garden this was not a problem for... More

This hotel has the spookiest picture at the foot of the stairwell that I've ever seen. Then, and only just when you've got over that shock...on the next floor is a solitary rocking chair next to an old 'sleeping beauty type' spinning wheel... All rather odd if I'm honest. Its a good job they can substitute their income with wedding... More

We held our annual family gathering here and the service, food, location were all excellent. The gardens and decked area are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. The hotel is quiet and peaceful with plenty of parking. Thank you for an amazing day! We will definitely be back.

We stayed in one of the converted stables for a week. Very comfortable accommodation, lovely grounds, very peaceful. Hotel is in a very good location for local attractions, Pendennis Castle, Trebah Gardens and Falmouth. We had two dogs with us and the cottage was perfect for us as we were allowed to use the gardens around the house.

My husband and I went last Sunday for a roast with friends who are interested in this venue for their wedding. The grounds are well kept and very peaceful. The manor is old with character. The staff were pleasant and professional. The food was well presented and tasty, although a few more vegetables would have been better. There is a... More

This is my second review of this wonderful hotel. We found it when looking for a dog friendly hotel near our daughter's university at Falmouth and have taken eight short breaks there since. Neil, the manager, and his team have always been really friendly, helpful and go out of their way to help with any requests. The grounds have a... More
