Fabulous hotel with exceptionally gorgeous surroundings and one of the most beautiful gardens. Love everything about this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and the reception staff are so friendly and helpful. Would love to go back again for repeated visits.

Had the pleasure of a month long stay here (for business), Must say its a quaint, peaceful hotel, rooms are comfortable and clean, staff are really friendly (Thanks Magda, Gaye, Rita, Christian, Dan and the rest!), and the food is excellent. If and when I return to Falmouth, this is my 1st choice.

We booked a 3 night stay on a D,B&B basis at the Meudon ( described as a country hotel on their web site ). On arrival it was not as we had expected--a skip was parked outside reception, the building on the right resembled council flats and on the left a single storey building that looked like a mobile home.... . The welcome at the Meudon hotel was friendly we were promptly shown to our rooms and were well pleased, A walk in the gardens was worthwhile and lead to a secluded cove that is on the South Coast path, Dinner was very good and service excellent. Our only adverse comment is that on the first night we could hear... More

A Sunday lunch for two at the Meudon with a table by the window and views down the garden to the sea beyond. A perfect spot for a superb value for money lunch. Attentive management and great staff service. The meal was fantastic with the beef for my wife presented in the way she requested. Faultless in every aspect. Will of... More

This is a traditional and very well ran hotel. It was a lad and Dad holiday with my 13 year old son. Excellent food, lovely staff and fantastic out of town location. Will go back as soon as we can. Walks along the coastal path are interesting and worth every step.

I stayed in this hotel after leaving the hotel I had originally booked to stay at (as there was a huge wedding going on making a massive noise). The hotel could not have been more hospitable; the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My room was spacious with a comfortable bed; the gardens are beautiful with a lovely walk down... More

This place was recommended to us by Cornwall residents. The outside is strange, not a good first impression as it look like a 1960s sci fi impression of a modern building. However, the gardens are a delight, and lead down to the private cove. Unfortunately the day we visited the weather was very blustery, so could not stay on the... More

Very friendly staff, beautiful gardens leading down to idyllic beach. Ask for first floor room, ground floor rooms suffer badly from squeaking floorboards above (a real problem). Gardens should be illuminated at night, so guests can enjoy it from dining room. Three course dinner costs £35, and no bread is served. Not even a roll. At breakfast, juices and small... More
