A few days ago my third visit to San Remo sadly came to an end. Each visit seems better than the one before and am already trying to work out the best time to return next year. Perfect location, perfect accommodation, perfect hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. Why risk an encounter with a B&B of the inferior...

I really enjoyed my stay at San Remo. We'd booked a few rooms out as a group and all of us received brilliant service. I had one of the single rooms, which was nicely decorated and comfortable. The shower room was quite small, but adequate, although the door on it was a bit hard to open and shut. Breakfast was...

This is an extremely comfortable and convenient place to stay in Falmouth. Jenny and Steve are so welcoming and take care to make you feel at home. The rooms are spotless and well appointed and there is a wide choice of fruit, cereals and freshly cooked food for breakfast. Personal tastes and food allergies or intolerances are well catered for....

Thank you for your lovely review. We try and add the personal touch to all our stays, and we find offering tea and cake on arrival is a great opportunity to pass on information about local places of interest and events. After a long journey it is also a good way to unwind and get into the holiday mode. We...

Stated for three nights, just wish we could have stayed longer. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, everywhere was spotless, the freshly cooked food was just wonderful and the location was amazing. Can't wait to book again. Thank you for everything.

We had 4 nights, our first b&b experience. In Falmouth for the International Sea Shanty Festival. Excellent base. Beach just round the corner, short walk into town (uphill on the way back so take the car if you don't fancy that).Friendly hosts, great attention to detail. Comfy beds, lovely breakfast, kept us going all day. Good value at £75 a...

What a great weekend that was. Falmouth's Shanty Festival has become one of Europe's biggest maritime music festivals, with over 50 groups singing in 21 venues over the three days. All our guests, including yourself, really enjoyed the weekend and the free entertainment. We are already receiving enquiries for next year, June 17-19. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we only...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay at San Remo. We are very lucky to be so close to Gyllyngvase Beach, one of only 7 blue flag beaches in Cornwall. Safe bathing and ideal for rock pooling, the beach also offers stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkelling and coaststeering. We can lend beach chairs,...

The location is superb - sea views, two minute walk to the beach, plenty of free car parking space. The owners are a delight - Jenny welcomed us with tea and cakes, Steve was out when we arrived but came to introduce himself as soon as he got home. I've never met two more friendly or enthusiastic hotel owners. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The San Remo has a combination of singles, twin, double and family rooms which are all en-suite and many have sea views. The car park is available for your stay, but many guests find they do not need their car to visit many of Falmouth’s attractions. The town and harbour are only a 10 minutes walk away, and from there ferry, bus and train journeys can be planned to local places of interest, such as Truro, St. Mawes and the Helford River. Jenny and Steve aim to provide a clean, comfy and friendly stay. Personal touches such as birthday cakes or special kiddies breakfasts are all catered for. Old-fashioned hospitality is provided which we hope will exceed your expectations for your stay at the San Remo. Early breakfasts are available for visiting workers or those wishing to make an early start. Packed lunches and laundry can also be arranged with prior warning. ... more   less
