Stayed for three nights in May. Lynne was a wonderful host, she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, starting with tea and homemade biscuits. Breakfast was a treat - especially the bacon and homemade bread. The room was comfortable. It is very close to town and the beach so great if you do not have a car. We will be back x
From the first call to checking out, Lynn our host at Heritage House, was warm welcoming and helpful. Heritage House is a short walk from two of Falmouth’s lovely beeches, the castle and the town centre. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and ours came with an en-suite. The only slight downside is there’s no off street parking, but we managed to find a parking space within 100 metres every time we returned. The highlight of our stay has to be the breakfast, where to begin! Freshly prepared fruit salad, excellent selection of cereals, fabulous Full English Breakfast and to top it off Lynn makes her own bread, in a word delicious! Well worth a visit just for the breakfast.
Lovely clean little bnb with a warm welcome. Cosy little en-suite family room. Comfy beds. Next to main road but couldn’t here a thing. Lovely breakfast. However top of the price range for a bnb in September. Great host.
This B&B definitely lives up to its name. We were made to feel extremely welcome and our room was lovely. The location is very good for walking into Falmouth and there is free parking outside on the street which is very useful. The bed was comfortable and the room well equipped. Breakfast was good - with home-made bread and a choice of fresh fruit. Lynn was very helpful providing maps and lots of local information to help us find a particular place we wanted to visit. Heritage House reminds you why you should use a proper B&B not AirB&B.
Don't bother with air b and b. A real b and b starts with the landlady being there to say hello and offer you a nice cup of tea and scones. That is exactly the welcome Lynn gave us, what a great start to the weekend! The rooms, bathrooms, sitting room and breakfast room are all immaculate, spotlessly clean with the bright seaside theme making it all very homely. Nothing is too much trouble and if there is anything you need Lynn is the hostess with the mostess. Breakfast.... just book and try it, so much choice and all prepared freshly and with love. Treat yourself, we did and we will again. Thanks Lynn!
Everything about Heritage House is just right. The rooms are bright, super clean, comfortable, with quality bedding and towels plus a great welcome after a long journey. The breakfast couldn't be bettered in a 5* hotel, and nothing was too much trouble for Lynn. Thank You!!
The welcoming was excellent. The house is really clean, beds are cosy, quiet rooms. Went there with 3 kids and it was well adapted. Very nice breakfast. We would definitely come back there if we are the area again.
Super bed and breakfast. Fresh cooked breakfast, room was clean and had all the extras. Hostess/owner was welcoming and very helpful with regard to places to visit and routes to find our way around. Within walking distance of Falmouth.
Found a gem after a long flight from Australia for a one night stay with a terrific host Lynne who frankly could not do enough to make you welcome and your stay a treat with friendly advice on places to visit. Also a fabulous English breakfast and little bits and pieces that show an eye for detail and homeliness. Lynne also helped me with luggage by driving me to the train station. If you want somewhere friendly, convenient and very clean picture perfect, this is the place to try and good price.
Lynn made us very welcome and provided a wonderful afternoon tea on arrival! Comfortable room and good facilities. Excellent breakfasts, in lovely dining room, with plenty of choice for vegetarians. Stayed previously in 1999 - We won't leave it another 18 years before returning!
