We are not really sure how this is 4 star! We were in room 7 and it was cold. The radiator hardly gave any heat, the curtains were hanging off the rail, the skirting and picture rails were dusty. Breakfast was served on a Small plate, but the choice was good of the breakfast items I.e.fresh fruit and cereals, and the...

The only good things about this place are the location, car park and the cook. We saw the host twice-once when she gave us the key( didn't bother to show us to the room) and a fleeting appearance at breakfast one morning. We don't expect to be gushed over by the hosts but a bit of interaction and interest would...

We arrived and were given a key and directions to our room, host not at all social, room and bathroom a good size however rather tired looking. The bed was so hard it felt as though I was laying on a board, we even tried sleeping on top of the bedclothes to try to soften it a little, not much...

Stayed here on sat 20/8/16 place needs updating , tasty breakfast but on a small plate , a small downside is breakfast is served before 8.45 which for a Sunday is really not good as most people go out Saturday night , a bit more attention needed to fixtures and fittings and the finer details , but in a good...

We were made very welcome and shown to a large, clean room which had a bath and shower. There was so much choice for breakfast it was wonderful.. As it is vital I eat gluten free I provided my own cereal and toast bags. They bought gluten free bread and I avoided the sausage in my full English breakfast. The...

We found the place by accident on the internet the evening before. It was Bank Holiday weekend and Chester Races hence Chester was 98% booked. Mal, the owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful. She had a cancellation before we arrived the next morning so offered us a free upgrade. Both rooms we looked at were immaculate, the...

DO NOT STAY AT THIS B&B. When we arrived and taken to our room, the room itself was not too bad, with a very high ceiling and big sash windows, which the wind was blowing through, but the room was freezing cold. The radiators were not on, and there was only a tiny oil filled radiator in the room to...

The rooms are always clean and warm and have tv coffee making facilities toiletries hairdryer etc Very reasonable prices Great...

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst celebrating our daughters graduation. The large room was clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making, free view tv, haidryer and complimentary toiletries. Ample free parking. Breakfast was served quickly and with a smile. Plenty of choice from fruit, cereals, yoghurts, toast and full english. The staff were very friendly but not intrusive. I...
