I stayed here on Saturday night after looking everywhere and asking prices around this particular area. The double room was very nice and comfortable, just what we were looking for! Great night sleep! And not to far from the centre of Chester. Warm welcome by the owner, who does a fantastic job at making sure the cleanliness is spot on,...

Went to Victoria Lodge as we were up in chester for a family christening and so happy we booked here!! From arrival we were greeted with Pam, who made our stay brilliant. We felt very welcomed, as if we were at home! The b&b is a few minutes walk away from hoole which is great for restaurants and shops! Everything...

Having stayed at the Ormonde (DON'T STAY THERE!) for my last company function in December 2013, I managed to get a booking into the Victoria Lodge. I have to say from the moment you make the booking until the time you leave Pam is nothing but helpful, polite and always willing to have a conversation with you. The Room was...

Our first time at Victoria Lodge and not our last. A beautiful old building with lots of period features. A lovely welcome from Pam who showed us to room 3, which has a large bay window overlooking the front garden. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, We had two really good nights sleep and despite being at the front...

We stayed Saturday 27th September 2014. I would recommend the Victoria Lodge 100%. The house is beautiful, rooms are lovely and clean. Pam, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming. And the breakfast is first class! Would love to return to Chester some day, and there is no question, I will be hoping to stay here again!

Very friendly welcome, the host couldn't do enough for us - even providing us with some emergency wrapping paper! Very flexible and considerate. Room was large, clean and had everything we needed, bed was comfy and the breakfast was great - all local quality produce. Was quiet even though on a busy road. A real gem!!

Victoria lodge might not be the most amazingly decorated B&B you've ever seen but it will certainly win you over - it did us. We've stayed in luxury, modern hotels with all the amenities but none had the charm, warmth or the hospitality that will ensure we return to Victoria lodge. With bright, large, well appointed and very clean rooms,...

Stayed at the B&B as we were at a wedding at Chester Zoo. The lady who owns it was one of the most friendly people you could meet. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and the breakfast was served quickly and was very tasty. We will 100% be staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful...
