Look, if you're after 4-5 Star opulence don't stay at the Belgrave, stay across the road at the Queens Hotel, and pay for the privilege. If what you are looking for is somewhere cheap to stay the night very close to Chester train station, then this hotel fits the bill. There is nothing flash about the Belgrave, it's probably the... Location very good, Staff very friendly. I only stayed for 1 night and I paid £29 for a single room over the bank holiday August. I cant really complain about the price. The room was clean, but very dated, but I expected that, The shower in the morning wasnt really working at all, Just small drips of water coming out... More

Great Location only 5 min from Train Station. Bedrooms Clean and Basic but some may find them on small side as you would expect from an Hotel of this size. Great Value for Money so expect what you pay for.

Yes, the hotel is dated and needs modernising but that aside, this is a good hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the en suite room was clean and comfortable, it was quiet, they have a 24 hour reception and breakfast was pretty decent. It's right next to the station, and an easy walk to the city centre. Overall I'd... More

Granted the hotel is dated and needs a refit, but you get what you pay for. £40.00 for a city centre hotel on a Saturday night. (bargain) Staff are lovely and the room I stayed in was basic, clean and tidy. Room 4. I would recommend this hotel if you want a base its right near the train station and... More
