Stayed here to go to Chester races. Got there about 12 30 and told we could no book in till 2pm as the hotel was full the night before, but they couldn't guarantee 2pm either. We had travelled two hours on a hot day and was hoping to at least freshen up before going out. We were told there was... More

We just stayed one night. The hotel decor is a little tired but our room was very clean. The shower was great and the linen was clean and crisp. Room was on the small side but big enough. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Security is good. Plenty of parking. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the... More

Paid £80 for one night has Chester was very busy and other places were fully occupied. The first bedroom was very tired and stained so we asked to move. The second room had some refurbishment and was adequate. The hotel as a whole however is very much a one/two star. Run down, doors damaged, a horrible bar & dining area.... More

This hotel was clean but needs updating. The rooms are very tired looking. They are short staffed and what staff they had are multi tasking. Be aware this hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the city centre and that is walking at a decent pace. The breakfast is poor and the dining room uninviting.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed In. The beddings smelt so bad!!! It was really cold in the room and there were cobwebs and spiders in the wardrobe. There was also mold on the shower head and the shower curtain was really dirty. The walls are so thin that I could hear the couple in the next room who were quite... More

(£6.50 each) Within easy walking distance of Chester centre (15 min) Good selection of shops and pubs within stones throw of hotel Will definitely... More

Very "industrial", but at £50 for the night for two it served a purpose and was clean, tidy and for the price it was quite acceptable, so you can't complain and frankly we've stayed in worse for twice the price.
