Called in for a meal on Sunday lunchtime, never been before. It's very close to the university and clearly caters for student nights out. It's seen better days, a bit tatty, not the cleanest place in the world. Food on the floor under the table we chose. My daughter knows the place though and assured us the food was good....

I was very disappointed with our stay this year. We chose this hotel as we had stayed there last year and the hotel was lovely. This years stay was very different. The building inside is very grotty. The beds were clean. The toilet seat in the bathroom was cracked. A friend of ours stayed in a separate room and they...

We have stayed at this hotel several times before and have always been satisfied. On this occasion we were disappointed at the level af hygiene and the overall level of customer service. We arrived at 2.35 pm, 25 minutes before official check in time. We were told in a rather abrupt and unfriendly fashion that 3.00 was the check in...

Travelled to chester on a Friday night and the only room we could get was a twin room here for £75. We arrived about 8 o'clock and were eventually checked in by bar staff, who were to be fair, friendly at least, we were informed it was rock night and it would be very loud until at least 1 am,...

Visited twice and been left disappointed both times. The first time, my friends waited over half an hour before their cold chips arrived. They got told they would get fresh chips but instead they were just microwaved and brought back out. I waited 30 minutes for my dessert and when I asked where it was the women was not very...

Booked a double room to stay in following a night on the town. £44 for two people with a cooked breakfast an tea & coffee in room. It's not out of this world but excellent just for a stop over, rooms are a bit tired looking but clean ample size an have ensuite. We will definitely stay again, cheap, simple...
