Stayed here a few times now over the past years. So it`s Tudor style and not befitting the attention of a Tudor king but all the criticisms I may have are withheld. The future will see this Guesthouse refurbished to a three star hotel by the enthusiastic new owner. No doubt the cost of a sleep-over will be raised but... More

On arrival, place was dated, stunk of sewage by reception, was told renovations were underway, and we were to be in the old part, this was not a good sign! Filthy, hole in the base sheet, curtains dangerously close to a strip light, used shower gel, condiments dirty nightmare, shower was an absolute disgrace, cracks in plaster everywhere! Banging nightclub... More

Well i hve stayed here a few years back when the old owners where selling up. Good thing they did. The place is in the middle of renovations but it was no problem as a cew plastic sheets on the carpet will not make it a bad stay. My room was small but had everything needed. The bed was super... Just returned from a one night stay here with two other guests, it is in the middle of being refurbished but we stayed in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms. It was very clean and everything looked brand new. The beds were comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The en-suite is brand new and immaculate! The owner was... More

We booked this hotel at the last minute and it's a perfect location if you need to be near the station, or are as we were, watching a band at the Live Rooms. Close to lots of takeaways too. We were met by the owner who showed us where to park for free, and he was very welcoming and helpful.... More
