Hello, and thank you for leaving a review! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The points you mention are really helpful for future guests! I will pass on your comments about the breakfast, it would appear not all of our guests are team smokey bacon! I'll let chef know. Many thanks and I hope to see you again.

The room was fabulous, great size, good temperature and the bath room was very nice. Very handy location and easy to get too. The food was tasty if a like too salty for my taste. It would have been a 5 star if it was not for the noise (between 6pm-11pm) I am unsure if it was from the pub...

Many thanks for this positive review! My apologies about the noise, we aren't generally a rowdy pub so I imagine it may have been external noise. We would love to see you again, I do hope you will return next time you are in Chester! Thanks again.

Really big bedroom, bathroom ok. You can have free hot drinks in the bar if you show your key. Breakfast very nice, prices in bar not too bad. Great location. The restaurant I think is a little expensive for what you get,but there is a lot off great eating places.

I went here for lunch as they had 50% off and I was not disappointed! I had a mango, chicken, pepper and mayo pitta with soup, salad and coleslaw and it was very tasty! A little too much mayo and the soup wasn't that tasteful but the pitta was delicious! Definitely recommend although prices drinks at £2 for a small...

Visited for a midweek evening meal. Greeted by very welcoming young lady who showed us to our table before explaining how the jan/Feb 50% deal works. All three mains were exceptionally good. Gammon, pie and burger (my son had the birds eye chilli mayo on his, be warned it's very hot!). All had a dessert, lemon tart, cheesecake & a...

I'm sorry to hear you were let down on this occasion. Regarding the toiletries in the room, I apologise that your room was not serviced to the high standard we usually provide. I do wish you had mentioned this at the time as we would have been more than happy to replenish the supplies had we known you were overlooked....

My daughter and I visited this inn on a day trip to Chester and were very impressed with the food. It is across the road from the Cathedral so easy to find. Lovely restaurant area, very relaxing. I would return here again. Half price food too during February so even more reason to visit.

The hotel is lovely, staff were nice and room was very large HOWEVER......the noise was ridiculous from drunken groups outside until 3 am....not what we wanted from the 'upgraded room' We stayed in room 1 and it really should come with some sort of 'noise warning' we paid extra for the upgraded room yet due to it being on the...

I'm sorry to hear this, I do know which night you mean, as unfortunately the noise you heard was from another of our residents, which I can't apologise enough for. We do have a night porter on, he had in fact spoken to the guest and told her to keep the noise down, but we wouldn't expect him to tackle...
