We spent 5 nights at Saye Beach this week, 2 families holidaying together with 2 x 5 year olds.

We were given a very warm welcome by Zoe and her team, who were so friendly, instantly kicking our holiday off to a good start.

Each family hired a trailer tent, which we found fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay, we just took our own sleeping bags with us and towels etc.

The toilet/shower blocks at the site are clean and fresh, and well located within the site.

There are the usual campsite shop and cafe, however, Chef Sal is no campsite cook, he has previously been used to working in restaurants and, coming from Italy, his made to order pizzas were second to none! Not only that but the cafe is open all day for all manner of breakfast, lunch and evening meals, as well as drinks and a huge selection of ice creams!

There are also communal fridges & a generous supply of ice packs constantly being recycled to ensure all tents have fresh packs to keep cool boxes chilled.

The site also boasts a large wooden wet weather clubhouse, which is clean, warm and dry, with a comfortable array of chairs and a good kitchen attached for dishwashing.

We were “unlucky” to have to evacuate our tents for a night during our stay, due to a storm being forecast to hit overnight. We were advised to move our mattresses and overnight bags into the hut and bed down there. Well, the kids had an absolute ball, a complete adventure, and it made our holiday!!! Zoe who runs the campsite couldn’t have done any more for us, ensuring we had everything we needed including a kettle, and her phone number! Not only that but the amazing Sal cooked up a feast of food for us to eat in and ride out the storm.

The campsite is located just a (very) short stroll from 2 of Alderney’s best beaches, close enough to pop back for ice creams and take them back to the beach to eat!

Arch Bay is simply stunning and highly recommended.

The children loved the campsite, it was safe, secure and, being one big open space, afforded them the freedom to run back and forth to the well equipped play area as and when they wanted to.

We will definitely be booking a regular camping trip to Saye Beach in future, and would highly recommend it.

Thanks Zoe and team 👍😊

Had a great stay at this well run campsite. Everything was clean and tidy, the onsite cafe did great breakfasts, and shop supplied all the essentials that you are likely to require. Although we took our own tent, the owners hire tents looked modern and very well kitted our. Thanks Zoe, look forward to seeing you again soon !

Stayed for 3 nights mid-August during heatwave. The location could not have been better, close to three of the most beautiful beaches in the Channel Islands (Saye, Arch, Corblets). Our trailer tent was literally 30 seconds from the beach over the dunes.

Facilities were great, Zoe and her team very friendly and welcoming, and the campsite had a beautifully calm atmosphere. It is testament to the other families staying there (and it is perfect for families) that we never felt disturbed by child noise or activities, and I would say it's one of my favourite campsites in the Channel Islands for relaxed camping.

We never cooked anything, utilising the cafe for breakfast, so really only used our tents for sleeping. The mozzies did trouble us somewhat, but careful tent management, keeping the inner sleeping compartments zipped up, helped to solve that problem. The big comfy cane chairs made relaxing outside the tent super easy.

We will deffo be going back.

A marvelous place, run by terrific people. Zoe and Salvatore make you so welcome and nothing is to much trouble for them.
The erected rental tents are “Trailer tents “ and come fully equipped so no sleeping on the floor on blowup beds.
Salvatore is a genuine true chef and provided us with what I truly believe is the best past carbonara if had outside of Italy.
A great camping experience set net to 3 of the best beaches you can find outside the Caribbean.

With a stunning location right on the beach and the most generous and welcoming host you could ask for, the campsite is amazing. Sal is ever ready to help you, welcome you in and the home cooked food is great. Flat ground, easy to pitch and sheltered with the sounds of the sea washing in to Saye beach just feet away.

Fantastic few days away. From start to finish. Took advantage of fantastic deal including ferry, taxi and 3 nights stay.
We stayed in a trailer tent which was sited literally 30 seconds from the incredible saye beach. Laying in a very comfortable bed hearing the sea magic! The tent was well-equipped and comfortable. Cooker, kitchen equipment and settee, table.
Zoe and Sal the owners are so welcoming and can't do enough to help their guests. Sal’s cooking is fab, pasta and pizza just delicious.
The toilet and shower facilities were always clean, the showers were hot.
Can't wait to return

We stayed with some friends for a wedding in late August and absolutely loved it. The location is beautiful, surrounded by idyllic beaches, the pre-set tents are fantastic, the facilities are all you'd need in any weather, and Zoe and Sal are brilliant hosts. We cannot recommend it enough and look forward to going back another year.

We came with friends and had tents next to each other. It was great fun and the camp site is clean and welcoming. Electricity supplied in the hut for charging electrics and the showers/toilets are maintained well and clean. The bacon bap in the mornings are amazing too!

We stopped at the campsite cafe for tea and coffee on our E bike tour of Alderney. The wonderful and friendly Italian chef gave us complimentary chocolate cake that was to die for. Highly recommended.

What an amazing week we had here! Fantastic trailer tent - very comfortable beds, lovely wicker furniture that felt like we were sitting in a lovely conservatory in the bay area within the tent, great kitchenette area. Was able to cook some nice cooked breakfasts. Plenty of fridges on-site to keep food in. Zoe and Sal and Emma all amazing and welcoming. The food on site was delicious - we recommend the pizza, garlic bread, meat balls and Zoe does the best bacon and egg breakfast rolls ever! We couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The beach is idyllic and quiet. Full of wildlife and easy to see the sun rise and the sunsets as the camp is literally behind the sand dunes. It was like having a private beach. Lovely swimming there too, we spent many happy hours watching the tides come in and out and listening to the calls of the oyster catchers and gulls. We walked every inch of the island! Thank you Zoe and everyone. Keep doing what you’re doing. We love you!
