We booked here on the last minute and were treated to a gorgeous room in a beautiful location foe a very fair price. The rooms are spotless and superbly decorated. The owners are very friendly and informative, and the beds really comfy. Please be aware that breakfast isn't available here, but the inn next door offer breakfasts. The beautifully appointed... Fabulous place but it is not an Inn so if your expecting to pop to the bar it's not going to happen, however next door both sides there are pubs which also offer food. This is a room only property however we did not find this a problem, our room was very clean. Quiet, and well equipped with a and... More

Fantastic location, the accommodation couldn't have been better, very clean and well decorated with facilities you would normally associate with a hotel. These included free wi-fi, hairdryer, a huge bathroom, great dressing table, and a tea making tray. Will definitely return. Handy that the Grand Central diner is next door which does a great breakfast!

Location is what this Inn is all about. Beautiful views of the River from all front facing rooms. Lovely to walk along the river and sit awhile. Lily, the owner, is on hand to offer handy hints. She advised us to take the train and bus into Cambridge and we were very glad of her advice and left the car... More

We stayed here three nights with friends as the base for a cycling trip. The situation was perfect as it was right on a cycle path giving us immediate access to a wide network of cycle lanes. It's also very easy to walk to the charming centre of Ely and explore the magnificent Cathedral and restaurants. Decent beer is a... More

I spent a lazy weekend in Ely, I used to live nearby in Cambridge. The inn was delightful, good sized but cosy rooms, heated bathroom floors and a lovely view of the river. A good restaurant a minute's walk away and plenty to explore in the village. Breakfast was lovely and our stay was faultless!

I stayed one night on business and after finding this place the owner kindly gave up her parking spot for me as there is no parking as such. She was most attentive but not intrusive. The place is in a great location for everything. There is an Indian restaurant on Broad St approx 150m behind the Cutter Inn that has... More

We decided that we would Like to explore Ely, and visit the Cathedral. Our son very kindly booked some accommodation for my wife's birthday. The Riverside Inn, first the bad points: no breakfast! We did not realise this until we checked in, and on tripadvisor it says "free breakfast"! To get some breakfast nearby the only offering is the American... More

Two night stay at the Riverside Inn. Excellent location on the river. Pleasant walk to the Cutter Inn and Ta Bouche cocktail bar on the river front. A ten minute walk into Ely and 5 minutes to the rail station. Cambridge is 20 minutes by train The guest house exceptionally clean and was decorated to a high standard with comfortable... More
