Only 5 rooms available and entrance is a small doorway in a street with constant traffic and pedesterian crossing right outside bipping and whirring at all hours of day and night. Eventually someone answered the door after I'd banged hard a number of times. Girls said owner not there (at swimming pool) so she couldn't allow access to the room... More

This is an awful place to stay, the owner/manager was stroppy and not too helpful loads of flies in room which was in an outhouse in the garden spider added extra, did get an iron and table top ironing board. NO glasses as stated by the said manager/owner "no one has asked in ten years for a glass" we were... More

NOT FIT FOR HUMANS! PLEASE look at the attached photos. I've seen less dust in an undiscovered tomb. I complained to booking.com to get a pitiful refund for the two painful nights stayed. I've stayed in cleaner hostels in the far east and that's saying a lot. £130 for two nights is laughable. I cannot urge anyone enough not to... More

Don't stay here unless you have no other choice. Far too expensive for what you get. Odd, abrupt, immediate demand for cash when you arrive, before you even see the room. We stayed in a separate building to the reception which is in a Thai restaurant. We were lead up a dark, dank, staircase, with grim carpets, and a delightful... More

No En-suite, No working TV, No free Wi-Fi, No phone signal… the worst place I've paid forty for. After finding the "Harry Potter" door - I was instructed to go to the restaurant to the side. Asking at the counter as if i was asking for a number 20 and a side portion of 16, I was told that the... More

Stayed at this guest house as nothing else was available. Had to pay on arrival... I think they do this else people would probably just leave when they saw the rooms. We accessed the room via some very steep stairs and a filthy carpet which had no handrail. Room itself not too bad but bathroom was filthy and other guest... More

VERY basic room, tea and coffee making facilities, but cannot fill the kettle in the sink. The bathroom was VERY small. It was not clear that cash had to be paid and that there was no breakfast included. Expensive for the one night and NEVER again.

I should have read my Booking.com confirmation more carefully! It did state that payment in cash would have to be made on arrival, and that there was no breakfast. Both these things came as a surprise when I checked in. Credit cards are not accepted - luckily my friend and I had enough cash to cope, but it could easily... More
