I stayed for four nights at the Hamilton Lodge while attending Jesus College. It's a short walk from the university. There is a small grocery infront and the bus stop is close by. The room is clean though small. It had all amenities I needed.

All the hotels were full, and this was the best we could get. Prices were high all over the city, but still I think this was over priced compared to the value. Service was very friendly, but rooms quite old and its a bit far away from the city center. Wifi reception was ok.

Not top of the range but quiet (at the back of the house). Three houses knocked together. It would be a lovely if they got some people in to do it up few licks of paint and sorted out the shabby bits - but I guess that's why it's cheap but so is premier inn and Travelodge! Not impressed. Staff...

People need to expect that if they're paying a few dozen quid for a place to stay then they shouldn't expect the Ritz. However, if you're living in the real world and want somewhere to stay in Cambridge which won't cost the earth, is comfortable, has friendly staff and a decent breakfast then you could hardly do better than Hamilton...

First time in Cambridge with 2 other friends and did not have enough time to search for places. We were only looking for a place to shower/sleep as most of the time we spent walking around. The Lodge is simple and we booked a room for 3 with suite. The room was clean and spacious. They also offered parking and...

When I first booked this B&B it had average to good reviews on this site so I booked with confidence. I was looking for somewhere reasonably priced but clean and tidy and HL seemed to fit the bill. I had to postpone my booking from August to October and by the time October came round the reviews had definiately gone...

Just a basic welcome. We have been allocated in room n° 1 just next to the entrance. We could hear everyone coming in and going out mainly "thanks" to the early birds and the large gaps all around the door frame. No proper double glazed windows so it was very noisy too because of the traffic. The bathroom was filthy,...

I booked a single room for one night with separate toilet and shower. It was only £30 and I decided to add the breakfast for £5 extra. The room was small but functional. It was a bit tired decor wise but everything worked fine and the bed linen was clean. The shower and toilet were not far away and both...
