I asked for a quiet room at the back, away from the busy road, but my ground-floor room overlooked a small patio and I was kept awake until the early hours by people talking and smoking just feet from my window. Their was no hair-dryer or tooth- mug in the room, but it was clean and tidy.

Stayed here with 3 friends in a family room, double bed and 2 singles bed. Room was lovely. Breakfast was great value for money. Very helpful owners and only 15 min walk to town centre and 5 mins to bowling/cinema/resturants.

Just as advertised online. Spotless clean, delightful friendly owners, breakfast as you choose it, fresh, whether cold or hot!!!! A little dated decor but extremely comfortable, in bedroom, lounge and dining room. We received all we expected, hence the high rating, could not have asked for more and will definitely recommend. Would love to go back Athena and Costas, thank... More

We stayed here due to an early hospital appointment. Wouldn't go again. Our room, number 12 was dated and dull. We were on the ground floor at the front so no chance of leaving windows open due to traffic noise. Both beds in the room were really squeaky but were clean. The room to the shower was badly fitting, no... More

There are many things I could list about this guest house. Service was tired, decor is brown throughout (at least it's uniform!), there are odd unfinished wires/pieces of masking tape, and it smells musty. It is within 20 minutes walk of the town centre and parking was free. We had the breakfast (at an additional charge), however the food delivered... More

Guest house and room were tired. Conversion done cheaply and not well finished. Room was hot but on main road so we didn't open the windows. Breakfast was ok but got the impression it was done on the cheap. We won't rush back! Another time we'd try the Travelodge nearby.

Clean room, friendly staff & fantastic cooked breakfast. Lovely & quiet, parking out front. 5 minute walk to parade of shops, restaurants & cinema. 10 minute walk to Cambridge train station. 15 minute walk to town centre. We'll be back!!!!

The best things about room 12 were: the cleanliness of the room; good shower; good location for railway station, shops, city centre & bus route. However, the room presentation was a bit "wonky" and a bit noisy. And my tariff did not include breakfast (£80 per night). My key criticism is reserved for the owner - the staff I encountered... Room was average and the staff were great! Only down side was that the wifi was not working which was a real shame. It was near the train station and city centre which is great. 5 minute walk from train station and ten from town

I was in Cambridge on business and I had to find myself a hotel room at the last minute (or, to be precise, a few days before). For some unclear reason most of the hotels in the town were fully booked, so I ended up grabbing a rather expensive family room here (£100 a night). This is where I might... More
