I spent a night at the A & B Guest House in a double room with my boyfriend. We did not book the room in advance, however the price that we paid was convenient, especially considering that breakfast was included and that the location was perfect (near the railway station). Even though this facility is near the railway station, in...

This guesthouse doesn't open until 15.30- you literally can't get in and they don't answer the phone either! So after a long journey with a baby it wasn't a great to not be able to check in or even speak to anyone at 14.30. They charge extra for parking as well. All of that taken into account. Once the doors...

Good for one night whilst exploring the city. Walking distance to town centre & parking on site - convenient. Comfortable sleep & good breakfast to start your day with the nice host. Rooms are simple but got everything you may need for a short stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my graduation, the guest house is very warm - had to turn the heating off! Our room was quite small, adequate for sleeping in but not much else. It was decorated nicely and the bed was comfy, although our room looked out to the outside area which was a little off putting as the...

We spent 5 very pleasant days in Cambridge, staying at The A & B Guesthouse. The rooms were very adequate, clean and both had en-suites. The staff were all helpful and friendly and allowed us to leave our suitcases on the day of departure to collect later. The breakfasts were good and plentiful. A huge bonus for us was the...

Ideal place to stay if u want to explore the city. Rooms are clean and is very easy to walk to, from the train station. Only complaint being the rudeness of the chief making sarcastic remarks, with the receptionist, towards guests one morning when choosing to leave the breakfast room without thanking her for cooking. Not how you treat your...

My dad and I stayed here this weekend while attending a gig nearby. Very friendly staff, the lady who greeted us was absolutely lovely, laid-back and welcoming. Our room was everything we needed, if a little basic but was well presented and good considering the value for money. Had a lovely sleep, beds were very comfortable! Breakfast was included in...

“My favourites are rooms 8, 9, 10 (in the roof) and 11 (ground floor), but I think all the doubles are of a good standard. If needing to economise and don't need a desk then choose a single.”

“Some of the rooms have big windows to the street. Ask for this type of room if you like to relax in the room after exhausting day with a cup of coffee or tea and watch the people going in the outside.”
