Really lovely roof terrace bar - perfect on a summer evening. Good cocktails and friendly staff. We had an all round lovely evening. I went with a friend but think this would be an excellent location for a date, or with family too.

Hotel's Favorite
I brought my partner here for his birthday treat and had a lovely stay. We had the senior fellows suite which was lovely. The breakfasts were good albeit they were running out of a lot of stuff on both days and not replenished. The setting for breakfast is in their 360 restaurant which a light and airy and with great views! We also had dinner there one evening which was really nice. We used the valet parking, you pull into a tiny road next to the hotel and I ran in to check in leaving my partner in the car as we didn’t want to get a ticket. They told me to tell him to come in and someone would park it straight away so it all worked really well. The hotel is so conveniently located for shops, restaurants, pubs, punting and the colleges. I’d definitely return to this hotel if we visit Cambridge again, a wonderful stay!

If you're visiting Cambridge then you have to come here. The panoramic views on the rooftop terrace are amazing. The restaurant on the floor below is really nice and you can sit on the terrace and take in the views. Great staff, very friendly. I've been coming here for years and been a member of the gym for over 10 years now - say no more!!! ;)

There are three outstanding features of this hotel. 1) location- adjacent to the river, a few minutes walk from the colleges and punting, fantastic views from the rooftop terrace and easily accessible by road. 2) cleanliness - very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms in particular. Ours was spotless and beautifully cleaned every day. 3) staff - very friendly, attentive and welcoming. I would have given this a 5* rating except for the parking. There is no car park on site. Cambridge parking is expensive. The hotel offers a valet service, but at £25 this is a bit steep and you need to give half hours notice of when car is required. The service also stops at 10pm. We had a problem on two occasions when they had not recorded the time our car was required resulting in delays. However, they didn’t charge for the service on these two days which we felt was very reasonable and an example of good customer care. We would definitely return and stay again.
