I was organising a get together for family and needed a few rooms in order to put them up overnight and provide a breakfast the next day and we stayed as well to be together. I had intended for us all to eat there too for a celebration meal. I tried to book the table for 12 people on the... More

Dear Customer, We thank you for the review. It is bit sad that we dint meet your expectations. We at Tree Hotel pride ourselves with the service we provide. Many of your comments are the ones which looks like a bit exaggerated but its us who will look in darker side if we go on about it. Our restaurant closes... More

We chose this hotel as the location was ideal for where we were visiting, had not read the most recent reviews and can say that it appears things have improved slightly. Our meals were good for the price, tasty, well presented and no upset tummies, we are not talking five star quality here but we were happy with what we... More

Adding insult to injury, after I stayed at this over priced, run down place, they charged my card an unauthorised second amount ( over £100). I still have had no credible explanation or apology. After innumerable phone calls, emails etc over two weeks I finally got a response and managed to get the money back. One "explanation" was that they... More

If you like poor quality frozen food this is the place for you. If not, give this place a wide berth. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights. We ate in the restaurant on the first night. The menu heavily influenced by Indian choice. Popadoms where soft certainly not freshly prepared, no chutney or other dips just some awful pickles.... More

This property needs a transfusion. Spent 4 nights there. Place smells musty. Carpets are soiled. Paint is chipped. Furniture is old, internet did not work. Breakfast was dull and tasted as though everything was premade. Stay here again. No way.

I have said in the past 5* food with 3* rooms. I’m afraid the rooms are going down to 2* (see my previous reviews). Although the room still very clean and spacious, the bathroom was in such a need of refurbishment, that with all the best will in the world, the condition of it, really meant that by to-days standards,... Nice traditional Pub with Hotel rooms. Rooms are a little outdated, but clean and exceptionally large. Poor wifi and small TVs. Food in Pub is good, with the majority of the selection being Indian cuisine based. Good quality food. Breakfast was good, if a little restricted on choice. Staff attentive.

I work relatively close to this hotel so thought I would stay over for a night to try it out. The welcome was friendly and the staff were very helpful. The room, unfortunately, was a bit of a disappointment. It was freezing cold and as it was very large the small electric space heater had real trouble keeping it warm... More

The size of the rooms were good, plenty of room to move around and plenty of drawers etc for your clothes. The room was lovely and warm and even had a spare heater in there in case we needed it. It was nice to have a choice of a bath or shower, the bathroom was a little dated, but for... More
