I review many commuter or travelling business style hotels around the UK and know what to expect . Not looking for luxury , just convenience , security , cleanliness and comfort This property doesn’t satisfy any of those criteria . The first property I checked into and have immediately scoured online for other options nearby . Horrible mattress with late dents in it , I clean sheets , tiny room , horrible shared bathroom , noisy , dirty , no no no

We stayed here whilst going to a wedding nearby. The room was basic but fine and beds comfortable. Room was set back from the road so I didn't hear any noise and had a really good nights sleep. Only downside was a communal bathroom and the cafe isn't open on a Sunday so we didn't get to test the breakfast. All in all a pretty good stay for the money really!

As a driver I often look for overnight accommodation that’s budget priced & safe for a line female. I was already aware of the place as my late father used to live in Stokenchurch and put my Aunty up there last year. Personally it is what it is. It’s not a top class hotel but it doesn’t claim to be something it isn’t. It was clean & comfortable my only complaint is my room was quite cold. Shared toilets & bathroom but they do have a separate ladies and I got a decent shower in the morning. Breakfast was great the lady who served me was concerned I didn’t have enough! The young lady who checked me in was polite & extremely helpful. It is first & foremost a truck stop but for what I wanted it ticked all the boxes. I’d have no problem staying there again and my profits haven’t been dented with the price.

Contacted the motel to cancel my room 24 hours before check in as I had news that my father had just died I know they State in the rules that they don't except cancelations but it would have nice for the management to have a heart and refund me as my room was soon sold and they had sold all rooms for the day after seeing feedback back from someone saying they had the smell of cat pee in there room maybe I was saved that I will pass you by when I come that way again and will tell lots of friends please don't go there
