Went away for one night to get out of the city. Small pub, but cosy with a good atmosphere. Food was great too (reasonably priced and well done). Pub staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful - other places could learn a thing or two from them! Rooms are great for the price, very comfy.

I feel compelled to review this pub after our visit on Saturday lunchtime. We were a group of 21, 10 adults and 10 children and a dog, camping in the campsite next door. We made a reservation in the week, as were were so many and pretty much took over the pub. We had to re-arrange the tables on arrival... More

A friend of mine decided to host her 40th birthday party at this venue so that people who wanted to camp could do so at Home Farm Campsite which was next door, and people who wanted a bed and breakfast room could stay at the Crown. Having experienced poor B&Bs and poor pubs serving microwave food I was if I'm... More

A close friend chose The Crown as the venue for her 40th birthday celebration over a weekend (Friday evening to Sunday) as it provided bed and breakfast accommodation and had a campsite next door, as well as a suitable space (garden and marquee) for the party. The service was excellent: unobtrusive, informal, and courteous. The landlord went out of his... More

A superb hostelry. Rooms excellent. Large wet room. Very clean. Motel style so very convenient. Food standard punches well above anything you would expect. In your room you have a coffee machine and fresh milk in the fridge. Water in glass bottles is a very nice touch. The owner is there to please you and takes time to talk. You... More

Firstly let me say I really enjoyed my time this week at the Crown. The food was excellent with a lovely selection, well cooked and the staff were lovely. The good points. My room had a wet room shower (though the water pressure is a little low, that can't be helped)and the room was a good size, quiet and had... More

About 20 mins from High Wycombe, this little pub with rooms was a good find - rooms are a good size, nicely furnished with decent 'wet room' bathrooms, fridge containing complimentary fresh milk, still and sparkling water, proper Nespresso coffee machine and free pods, very comfy bed, quality bed linen and big towels. Ample free parking. Had dinner in the... More

Absolutely as advertised & reviewed. Very welcoming, relaxed & quaint country inn in the Chilterns (just outside High Wycombe). Good beer & excellent full english breakfast. Enjoyed a refreshing afternoon nap after red eye from US followed by full night's sleep in clean & comfortable room with ensuite before proceeding on journey. Highly recommend
