Overnight stay. Nick and his staff looked after us exceptionally. Food and accommodation top drawer, reasonably priced especially the wine list ! Surrounding area very quaint. Restaurant bulldog Butch very friendly -) Will return most definitely.

Having read the PR blurb about the newly launched Mash Inn, we booked a Saturday night dinner. The restaurant was full with a big party so it was very noisy and conversation, even hearing the lovely staff, was quite challenging. A few more soft furnishings or acoustic panels could help to sort this out. The tasting menu looked interesting but... More

A (so far)secret getaway close to London! An inspirational tasting menu, a spontaneous chef, very hospitable and caring staff, great rooms(+bathrooms!), and a scenic environment. Dinner and overnight stay made me feel like I was on a true holiday.

We live locally and three of us turned up for dinner last week as we had heard it had been refurbished and reopened. We were given a great welcome by Nick the owner who explained we were in for a "unique dining experience" . We were not disappointed. The old pub has been refurbished very sympathetically. There was a beautiful... More

Very nice menu ,good decor. Friendly staff . A small query where we could sit with a training guide dog , but soon sorted and staff were obliging and friendly. Had soup and a wrap with salad which was delicious .will definitely come again.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere which was lovely for a quiet night away. For big cars though the country lanes will disagree with you. It's surrounded by miles of country side so it's great for long walks. We were sure we booked the room with the bath, however when we arrived we were shown to quite a... More

Although booked by my family, I would just like to thank the staff and owner for a fantastic stay. Although closed to public the wedding celebration booking went ahead for 30 people. Staff were brilliant, food excellent and service fantastic. Stayed overnight in one if the garden rooms which was a delight. Cannot fault a thing. Thank you

When we arrived at the Three Horseshoes at 4.30pm to find no one there and the place locked up save for a door leading to the upstairs bedrooms, we and our two friends felt that this was not the most promising start for our get-together. We let ourselves in and phoned the number on our booking confirmation to ask what... More

My daughter booked this place for her wedding reception months ago. Having had no respose to emails, she took the menu choices in and checked all was well three weeks before the wedding and everything was confirmed as OK. As her parents, we though we would also pay a visit three days later only to find a notice that they... More

On Sunday 28 June we had a confirmed booking for my father's 91st birthday lunch. We spoke to the restaurant on Thursday to reconfirm our booking. Fifteen people arrived from London in the car park and we were met by some other 'guests' who informed us that no one was at the Three Horseshoes. They also had bookings for lunch.... More
