I have one word to describe my recent three night stay at 9 Princes Buildings- superb! This b&b is located in an attractive Georgian terrace just a stone's throw from the Clifton suspension bridge. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived and our room and bathroom were luxuriously appointed. Nice touches like fresh cake in the... More

A room with a fabulous view over the Clifton Gorge in an elegant and historic part of Bristol close to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Peaceful relaxed, comfortable and beautiful accommodation managed by thoughtful and easy-going hosts who have a genuine interest in their guests. One of the best if not the best B and B I have stayed in -... More

After a long day driving was pleased to book into no 9 Princes Building midweek. The B&B is in a stunning location next to the Clifton Suspension bridge and is a stylish and characterful regency townhouse. My room was big, very clean and comfortable as was the bathroom and the hosts were warm and welcoming as well as experienced and... More

We stayed overnight with a group of friends to attend a University reunion. The house is huge and perfectly placed by the Suspension bridge and there was wonderful views from our windows. Sadly none of this mattered because the basic need, a good bed, was absent. Our bed was appallingly uncomfortable with poor quality linen and shoddy pillows which made... More

We stayed at this B and B for three days while visiting the area and loved staying here. The owners are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are comfortable and breakfasts are plentiful, fresh and delicious, including a choice of cereals, fruits, yogurt and a cooked to your request main course. The house is large and rambling, with a comfy lounge,... More

I chose this B&B for its period features, character & charm, a lot of other hotels I find are modern, bland & boring. It is also great value for money, one of the cheapest rooms I found, especially considering its prime location in the heart of Clifton Village, right next to Clifton Suspension Bridge. I booked a last minute single... More

We spent one night here. The owners were very helpful, they provided a parking permit on arrival and I had no trouble finding a space. They suggested a good walk to the city centre along the river and places to look around in Clifton. We had the garden room (a twin), it was a lovely spacious room, spotlessly clean with... More

We recently stayed at this magnificent B&B for 3 nights - a much loved family house full of antiques, books and fun. Our room, overlooking the amazing Suspension Bridge, was spacious and decorated in period style creating a wonderful homely feel, with lovely extra touches such as the delicious homemade cakes. Simon and Joanna are extremely charming, caring and engaging... More
