Lovely room. Comfortable bed. Clean and spacious. Welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast average. From the outside the hotel looks a bit drab but inside its looks fresh and bright with lots of space to enjoy drinks and snacks.

Stayed here for 1 night with a friend..picked this hotel purely for price & location as it was near to a gig we were going to. As it was very cheap, I wasn’t expecting much and would have been happy if it was clean & comfortable..but it was so much more! The staff were super friendly upon arrival..a much more welcoming experience than other hotels I’ve stayed in recently & a refreshing change! The room was really clean & the beds really comfortable. No room service but we were delighted when we got back in the wee hours famished & discovered we could get a delicious pizza from the bar as well as any snacks & drinks! Breakfast was the icing on the cake..we were expecting a simple continental breakfast but were greeted by a huge array of things both hot & cold, including a waffle maker! I had a cooked breakfast which was lovely..the sausages were splendidly tasty. Would highly recommend, ridiculously cheap..amazingly comfortable and a magnificent breakfast!

We decided to choose Hampton when travelling to Bristol as it was advertised on booking.com as a good location and very good breakfast. Not disappointed with both! Breakfast was nice and we could choose from hot and cold food. Could use two more options for hot food. Beds were comfortable, we like the design of the room and pretty bathroom. The only disatvantage is that I added the filter „parking” and on the site it said there is a parking but it actually is a parking from another company but with a discount from hotel. Disappointing part as on the way there we have learned that. It shouldn’t be listed as a hotel with parking if it is extra paid! Plus is it is just a 5 minute walk from coach station. The only disadvantage is that it is Not the Safest around the roundabout and the tunnels for the pedestrians - homeless people live there in tents and abandoned advert bus. Not the best view of Bristol to see right when you come into the city!

Checked before that there was a good vegan breakfast, and was assured that there was. There was, but it’s potato croquettes, and sickly sweet beans - not a sausage, tomato, or mushroom. That aside, great staff and a decent hotel.

Dear JoeGoGoGo, Thank you for taking the time to share you feedback from your recent stay with us here at the Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre hotel. I was surprised to read your comments regarding the lack of Vegan options on our buffet as we do have signage located on the buffet highlighting the range of Vegan options available and that for all dietary and allergy requests to speak to a member of our breakfast team. Unfortunately, tomatoes and mushrooms are not part of our breakfast offering at this time. We are currently planning on expanding our breakfast/kitchen/buffet area and are waiting for final approval from Hilton. Once we get this, we hope to complete the works in the next few months and update our buffet with additional options. I am however pleased to read your found our staff great and hotel decent. Hopefully, your experience will not deter you from choosing to stay with us again at some point in the future. Kind Regards Mark HJ Swistek

Great Staff and Location -- Poor Quality Breakfast Food And Beds , Outdated Computers, Expect More The location is great , central and easy to access. Staff is very kind and welcoming. Beds can be quite uncomfortable really and I didn't sleep great. Breakfast is free and staff members are very kind, Luke especially always a pleasure to talk to and keen to help. However, the actual food leaves a lot to be desired -- always the same with no real options, the scrambled eggs are a hit or miss , the bread often not fully defrosted ,the normal bacon and sausages unedible. Fruit never of good quality and the granola is disgusting. Potatoes are again defrosted and can either taste good or be a complete mush. Which brings me back to the scrambled eggs which sometimes can taste ok and other times look rotten. The vegeterian sausages are all right but really there needs to be more options. The computer / work area uses computers that only have an extremely outdated version of internet explorer which basically means that it's impossible to access the majority of websites, including those of airlines (an essential for hotels). I expect more from a hilton chain

Dear all3322, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experience from your recent stay here at the Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre. I am pleased that you found our staff, in particular Luke to be helpful and friendly although I am disappointed to hear that there were parts of your stay that you did not enjoy. Thank you for your feedback regarding our Hampton breakfast. I am sorry if this was not to the standard expected. Hampton properties are quite restricted in what we can offer due to the size of our kitchens although despite this, our current buffet and selection of options does comply with our brands' audit requirements. That being said, it is of concern that you felt that hot food is inconsistently cooked and presented and I thank you for bringing this to my attention as I will be investigating this further. We are currently planning on expanding our breakfast/kitchen/buffet area and are waiting for final approval from Hilton. Once we get this, we hope to complete the works in the next couple of months and update our buffet and bar menu with additional options. This expansion will also see the current work zone removed from the building and a new, updated work area built into the newly planned seating area. I hope that despite the above, this will not deter you from choosing to stay with us again at some point in the future. Kind Regards Mark HJ Swistek Deputy General Manager
