We had in fact booked into another b&b but got a last minute e-mail telling us they had been flooded due to the recent storms so had booked us into the Lindfield. We arrived to find a spotlessly clean room with everything you would need for a comfortable nights stay ( really lovely mattresses)! There was plenty of choice for...

I stayed at this B&B on a weekend with my husband and little one. This was our first stay in a Bed and Breakfast. I was very happy when we arrived as we got a quiet room, it was clean and the lady who was there was very helpful. The breakfast room was very modern and spacious, breakfast was good,...

Although looked reasonable on the website the reality was a disappointment, you have a job finding the parking to the rear, no numbers at the back, went through another properties garden, it was a building site to the rear, upon checking in we were asked for the cash £330 before entering the rooms, we did not see her again. 1...

Thank you for your comments. Firstly our website does not say cooked breakfast is available. There is some building work going on at the back of the property. I have been down to the car park and found that the builders have moved the sign this has been replaced. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. When booking your...

I am writing this review before I have even finished my stay here. The establishment is spotlessly clean and suits my need exactly. Breakfast is a continental style offering, with croissants, bread, cereals, fresh fruit etc. No cooked breakfast here, but it is not an issue for me. I would imagine however, that wheelchair users would find it something of...

Nice room: huge double bed, sockets right next to bed for charging phones, nice bathroom, decent shower, well-priced. A spread of cereal, fruit, yoghurts, muffins etc. for breakfast (which finishes at 9 at the weekends - note to proprietor is that slightly later e.g. 9.30 would be appreciated!) We were in the front bedroom on ground floor, close to the...

The password is displayed in the lobby and there was a "things you need to know" infomation card that should have been on display in your room. NO toilet door which was very strange so i...

I am a business traveller and I have stayed here on a regular basis. It is close to several amenities and has a very good bus service with choices that gets you to the station, Bristol town...

Whilst working in Bristol I stayed at the Lindfield Guest House from September to January 2016. I was expecting cheap and cheerful but got cheap and excellent. The rooms are clean, neat and tidy. In fact they are cleaned every day, thank you Janet and Lorraine. There are tea / coffee making facilities in every room. Wendy is very accommodating...

We chose this b and b because it was close to where we were visiting. However, we did not find it friendly or welcoming. We had to pay in cash, in full, when we arrived. Our room was small, but seemed clean, until we turned the duvet down, when we discovered that the sheet on my bed was dirty. In...

Thank you for your comments. Firstly I would like to offer you my sincerest apologies. Unfortunately I was not available that weekend so I cannot comment on the treatment that you received on your arrival. As you can see from previous reviews this is not a regular occurrence. So once again may I offer my sincerest apologies. Janet.
