We stopped here for 2 nights. On the day of arrival I received an email asking me to provide a £250 security deposit. I knew to expect this as I had read previous reviews, but expected it to be charged to the card I paid with prior to arrival as indicated on my booking. Luckily I can do banking on my phone, but if this has been my parents I know they would have struggled. Check in was easy enough as staff were still onsite, but otherwise there is a keysafe system in place. We were given an apartment on the ground floor (it appears from the keysafes all were on the ground floor?) I wish we'd have known this when booking as the photos show ones on a higher level. Our apartment faced the road and was pretty noisy. The bedroom was by the road so our sleep was quite disturbed. The apartment was spacious and had all necessary facilities for a weekend stay. We are still quite cautious due to the ongoing pandemic and could easily cook/eat with the kitchen facilities on offer. Overall the place is basic and with abit of renovation would have huge potential. It was little things we noticed like the hairdryer indicated it was last PAC tested in 2018 and the radiator was held together with electrical tape in one place. We paid for parking for the 2 days as well. This was abit of a nightmare to be honest as cars parked behind the spaces (where they shouldn't have parked) making it really difficult to get in/out. This is a shared facility and something totally out of the control of staff, but frustrating nonetheless. If you want a basic and functional pad at a cheap cost to stay in the centre of Bristol I'd recommend, however personally we probably wouldn't stay again.…
Stayed here while visiting friends for a weekend, we had plenty of space for four of us, with 2 large bedrooms, a large kitchen / dining room with a tv, and a spacious bathroom. The apartment was exceptionally clean. and great with it being walking distance for food and shopping, would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
Posted on behalf of my husband. I stayed here for 2 nights and the apartment was clean and spacious. Also quiet! Must mention Kata and Krisztina on reception who were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
The apartments are ideally positioned for temple meads and the city centre. They're very clean and quite spacious. Only downside is we were on street level and it was quite noisy. I would go for a higher floor or an apartment at the back next time.
This was my 5th stay at Premier Suites and I'm happy to say that the quality of the apartments is improving. It is situated in the heart of Bristol and most major tourist attractions such as Bristol Aquarium, Cabot Circus, Hippodrome, We the Curious, St. Mary's etc. are all within walking distance. The residence itself is large and the flat is quite spacious. This is by far, one of the largest service apartments I have seen in Europe and even the bathroom is as large as the bedroom and the bathtub isn't cramped. There is a cooperative store just around the corner which if I remember correctly is open till 11 p.m. even on Sundays. The airport is 20 mins by taxi and costs 30 pounds. Temple Meads and Bristol Bus Station are 5 and 10 mins by walk respectively.
