My wife and I had our wedding reception at HDV at the end of November and had the most amazing day. From the food, to the rooms, and of course the staff every little detail was simply amazing. Emily and the whole team really made our day so incredibly special we would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking...

So, we were looking for a nice, high quality place to have a good evening meal. Upon entry the place looked lovely, and the restaurant really is quite beautiful inside. We were greeted upon arrival and went from there. First off our waiter brought out the a la carte menus only, I had to request the one for the 2...

We stayed one night for a birthday treat and took advantage of an upgrade offer (for £20) staying in the Beringer room. We have stayed here before and love the touches of luxury - lots of wood, leather, Egyptian cotton sheets - huge bed and huge bathroom. We ate well from the fixed price evening menu and enjoyed a very...

A very warm welcome was give by Gemma, nothing was too much trouble, thanks for making our stay so much fun. This is a very nice city hotel, great bedrooms, and fab bathrooms. A cosy and atmospheric bar and a delightful dining room. Very central, though parking can be a hassle.

I really like this Hotel which was originally built in the 18th century as a sugar warehouse. The building is full of character, with white painted walls and dark wood furniture paying homage to the age of the building. Being an old building the rooms vary in size. The standard rooms are comfortable, but for my most recent stay, I...

Fab steak sandwich, chips and glass of Wine for lunch today sat at the bar. The bar tender, Andy, recommended the wine and it was just perfect. Really good service all round. I will be going back again.

Lovely hotel , foods great , room spacious and staff were lovely , one gripe the rooms at the front of the hotel can be very noisy do select a room to the rear , although I had a dodgy nights sleep the rest of the experience was great , look out for Sunday night special offers

This hotel, although well known in Bristol, is hidden away, and almost looks a little out of place in its setting. Having said that it is truly beautiful and has been restored stunningly. I have stayed overnight here on several occasions and the staff are exceptional and very attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is also gorgeous, and...

We stayed on the bed breakfast and evening meal special. We had an email about the offer and as we were cruising from Southampton on the 29th we decided this was too good to miss. Great hotel chain this has been our 6th hotel du vin. Henley on Thames is still my favourite so far.
