I had read other reviews before visiting and wasn't expecting 5 star luxury, just a clean, comfortable hotel to get a good night's sleep. I knew it was located near some bars and it was on the main road, so a few drunk students were to be expected. I stayed for two nights. The first night was a room located...

It was the festive season with a week to go until Xmas, but when we arrived there were no Xmas decorations in sight, we asked the receptionist why and he told us that the owners of the hotel are Muslims. We were directed to our room and had the continuous sound of creaking floor boards as we walked up stairs...

This hotel is well decorated and very, very clean. It is in a prime location for visiting the centre of Bristol and yet is still quite and relaxing. Excellent shower and comfy bed, a little soft for my personal taste but I do like a very hard mattress. The staff were very accommodating especially as I arrived 4 hours before...

Average room but with a good size king bed. Tired looking bathroom with handheld shower in the bath. Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. Lots of stairs if your room is on the higher floors. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. No hot breakfast available here, just continental style on offer. Parking is very limited, even trying to...

I recently stayed at this hotel whilst on business. I would normally stay at other hotels but fully booked so thought I would try this one. Small hotel situated in the Clifton area of Bristol and close to shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and offered assistance with luggage. Old style hotel with lots of stairs and the room that...

We had a top floor room which was really cosy with sloped ceilings. The décor and furnishing was modern and the room was clean. The bathroom was small and I couldn't stand up in shower due to a low ceiling but that's a minor downsize to what was a great room. Good value for money and some of the friendliest...

Stayed for 1 week with work. Room was 7ft wide so don't expect a big room, far from it!!!! It was tiny!!! Free parking spaces- however only 5 for the 40 rooms, so expect to park down a dark street somewhere near !!!!! If you can find a space!!! If you get a room on the back take your earplugs...

Booked The Regency for one night mainly because of its convenience and location. The Regency is several houses merged together to make the hotel. It still has the features of the original houses. Our room (supposedly a double room) was tiny and we could only just about move around the bed. The bathroom was also tiny with a shower and...

Nice little hotel in the Clifton area of Bristol. Positives: 20 minute walk from zoo & main city centre. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and things to do/see close by. Very friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable and clean room. Negatives; Parking is very difficult in this area (we were lucky though & grabbed the one remaining space on the hotels driveway)....
